Yaya DaCosta to be on All My Children

Yaya DaCosta, the runner-up of the third cycle of America’s Next Top Model has been cast as Cassandra Foster, the daughter of Dr. Angie Hubbard on the ABC soap All My Children, according to ABC.

Since ANTM, Yaya has been doing lots of modeling and acting but this is one of her first regular tv roles. Cassandra is not a new character to the show. She was adopted by Angie and her ex-husband after the found her abandoned. She’s back now, all grown up, and wanting to reunite with her mother and meet her mother’s new husband.

This is the weirdest part–the guy who played Cassandra’s father way back when is the same actor who plays Cassandra’s mother’s new husband now. I hope there are lots of hilarious jokes about the two looking alike.
