Videos: Modelville 1.02

The second episode of Modelville, Tyra Banks’ show within-a-show on The Tyra Banks Show aired yesterday. The models started work on their commercial for the Carol’s Daughter contract.
I’m excited to see their commercials–I think it’s hilarious they are expected to write, shoot, produce and star in their own commercial. This is Modelville, not Project Greenlight!
The girls have only lived in the house for a short while, but the drama is already sky high and some of the girls do some really dumb things that could affect their careers.

From how I look at it, if the girls are serious about modeling, they shouldn’t participate in this zhizz. I think they are looking for fame or trying to lick Tyra’s a$$. All the drama seems to be scripted. Like a lot of it doesn’t seem real. All is just too over-dramatic. Plus it’s like ~ Weird. The whole thing is weird. As I said before it’s better if the thing is more about following the models life, struggling to become a model, getting to work, etc… instead of some drama and trying to write some zhizz.
If you want reality about modeling, there’s Make Me A Supermodel. I think the girls are doing this because they need the money. Both Binx and Fatima have worked but they’ve done editorial where they might have been paid $150 per job. They’ve done runway but unless you do a ton of runway, that doesn’t pay all that well either. Commercial/catalog modeling pays the most not the glamour/edgy/editorial stuff. In Renee and Dom’s cases, they’re older and like Renee said, there are a bunch of blonde/blue-eyed models out there. In Lauren’s case, she’s never seemed to realize that you have to go out and find agencies and get test shots done; she was always like waiting for something to fall into her lap or not serious about it at all and that’s not going to work if you want to model.

this is so terrible.
for me, if the girls want to be a TOP model, they have to follow and persue their dreams.
i hate bianca so much… her being a part of this makes me not want to watch it… y would some girls use her? a lot of them are successful as it is.. ahhh… i hate her…
