Video: Whitney Thompson on The Big Idea

Whitney Thompson appeared on The Big Idealate last week. It’s a pretty good interview. She chats about her supportive family, dealing with adversity, dealing with discrimination and her message to the modeling industry.
She’s a good interviewee. She’s confident and articulate and has a lot of important things to say. I know I’m harsh on her, but I do wish her the best of luck in her career! She has an important message for the fashion industry and for young girls and it would be great if she got it out there!
I love you Whitney but if i have to hear these same tired stats you give about your “13 y/o cousin” and the 9 year old’s dieting, i’m gonna barf. You are an intelligent woman and while I agree with you message you should phrase it so that you don’t vilify anyone for being skinny or fat. You should just state that everyone is different and size goes along with that. Simply say that you would recommend that everyone do what’s healthy for her or his body type.
Also your roots are starting to get to me so please touch them up or dye it darker. Go Whitney!!!
