Tyra Show Gets Highest Ratings Ever
The Tyra Show on Monday managed to set a new record for The Tyra Banks Show as millions of people tuned in to watch the health and fitness makeovers.
On Tuesday, people tuned in to watch the models go at it (you know what I mean … I think) as Tyra interviewed some of the ANTM contestants in a Tyra Banks exclusive.
Meanwhile, across the net, rumors of Tyra’s meanness are spreading like wildfire through message boards. Some choice comments:
I am sooooooooo pissed and fed up with Tyra and all of her lies. I am close to one of Tiffany’s relatives and Let me set the record straight about Tyra & Tiffany. Everything Michellela(apparently Michelle from cycle 4 who answers questions on the forum, her user name is Michellela) said about Tyra dogging Tiffany out is true. In fact she called Tiffany the B word with black in front of it a couple of times during that elimination show (footage that Tyra will never let be shown). On her show yesterday she kept hugging Tiffany like she loves her and if you noticed, Tiffany had a look of disgust on her face. Tyrant is trying to convince America that she is doing things for Tiffany. She has not done ANYTHING for Tiffany. Every show she does with Tiffany, she tells the same lie. Tiffany has to go along with it because she is under contract and can’t say anything bad about Tyrant. Just like she said she would never talk bad about her father, she has never said anything bad about Tyra. Tyra has not mentored Tiffany at all. Tiffany let Tyrant off the hook by not telling the true story about how dirty and underhanded Tyra really is. Everything Tiffany has done since the show has been because of her grandmother. Tyra is what she is a pimp and a lying one at that. Her so called renowned psychotherapist is a quack. You can tell he doesn’t know what he’s talking about because he says the same thing to every girl that he talks to on the show.
Tyra is still trying to make America think that Tiffany has a defeatist attitude. Tyra dogged Tiffany in front of millions because she considered Tiffany to be beneath her. She keeps saying she was rooting for Tiffany and that she could have won the competion. How she sees the beauty in Tiffany that Tiffany doesn’t see in herself and she sees the same thing in so many inner city girls and she doesn’t want her to be a victim, bull. Tyra kept cutting Tiffany off when she was trying to talk, like she always does when people are not saying what she wants them to say. Tyra has fake compassion, but I must say she is a good actress. If I didn’t know the true story, I would believe what Tyra says on her show. When Tiffany started crying about how they always referred to her as Ghetto this or ghetto with a capital G, Tyra immediately stopped her and was saying she didn’t know what judge called her ghetto. The truth of the matter is it was Tyra and she didn’t say in a very pretty way. In my opinion, Tyra is hurting Tiffany more than she is helping because she continues to put Tiffany down while pretending to lift her up. Tyra is all about me, me, me and some more of me. I have to totally agree. I love ANTM, don’t get me wrong. But I am totally pissed off at the way Tyra is exploiting the girls. The interview with Tiffany bothered me in particular. A session with a psychiatrist is supposed to be PRIVATE. Tyra aired allllll of Tiffany’s business (rape, father issues, etc) and I do not think that was right. You could tell that Tiffany was very uncomfortable. Tyra said “We’re trying to help you.” And you could tell Tiffany was annoyed when she asked Tyra : “Oh, Help me???”
I just don’t think it was right.

I love tyra I cant say weather or not she is sincere maybe if she is faking it she will fake it to she make it just lets keep her in our prayer

…I feel that Tyra is a beautiful person, for the most part, but I must agree that she exploits top models unfairly. I believe she portrays genuine concern but is quite selfish really. In Tiffany’s case,she should have handled the situation differently. If she was really concerned about Tiffany and was really a mentor to her, she would not have aired all of her business and should not have had to give herself props by constantly repeating in front of millions how ahe was such a mentor and caring confidant of Tiffany’s. I believe Tyra is often too for real, if you know what I mean. This kind of genuineness occurs when one knows whithin themselves their selfish and fony motives and feels the need to have others deem them genuine and real.

Well I think Tyra is a great person! giving people upportunity’s!! the modelling business is a hard and cruel business so if you can’t handle it you can’t compete in antm! I think Tyra got mad at Tiffany for a good reason and I believe that she is helping Tiffany because Tiffany said so in another interview! And Tiffany has choices of her own! she came to that show with free will.

I think Tyra is very very selfish. I don’t understand the high ratings. I can’t believe no one can see through her. She is so fake, judgemental, and condensending. She never lets people finish what they are saying. She is a poor interviewer and I DO THINK SHE EXPOITS THE ANTM girls. I think it is a real shame. I use to kind of like tyra, but the more I watch the show (by mistake) the more I hate her and see through her bull shit. FAKE…FAKE….FAke.

You know what I think? If you hate watching Tyra then, just switch the tv off. It’s not news to me when people criticise someone. What is between Tiffany and Tyra we don’t know. Someone can’t say she is a close friend to Tiffany’s relatives and so buys the story! No, let the Tiffany’s relatives come out and tell us if it’s the truth. Another thing, if someone wants to be helped psychologically,they have to say everything, otherwise how will their problem be discovered? Think first before you judge. And whoever thinks Tyra’s show is fake, kindly look create your own show to help other Tiffanys.
