Tyra Banks Will Still Host Top Model
There’d been some rumors floating around the Internets about Tyra quitting ANTM right alongside her modeling career, but it looks like those rumors were false! Tyra will walk away from the runway, but not from the UPN show.
According to an article at Indy Star:
Banks has announced her retirement from modeling, but she isn’t retiring from UPN’s “Top Model” series, where her official title is creator/executive producer/judge. And she continues as host of the daily “Tyra Banks” talk show. “Top Models Cycle 6″ kicks off in the spring. Applications are being accepted for “Cycle 7.” Check upn.com for more information.
Looks like lots more Top Model gossip is on its ways in the near future!

Being and agent/photographer for many years in the industry, I was appauled at the comments made yuesday by janice dickenson and tryra banks, ridiculous to say the least, they are not knowledgable at all..janice stating that young models are getting kidnapped and doing drugs constantly, so not trueat all!! stip scaring the public.tyra telling peole on air not to ever spend money on pictures also not true, only in New York, where models test fro free, that is the center of the garment industry, other cities are different..PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT IT DAMAGED THE VIEW OF THE BUSINESS

Hi Tyra!!!! Am fun of your shows you inspire me in my profession. Am a Model Photographer in Kenya n ur shows like America Next Top Model normally comes on Friday, how you present is just super. I love the shots which your Director Of Photography creates, the shots r just amazing.
Anyway, am coming up knowing one day you’ll meet my work. There’re alot of things for studio i need even small budget for building up the studio, but through God i’ll have. Cheers!!!!!!!!

If Tyra didn’t host ANTM at this point, the show would basically be nothing to watch. It’d be like having a bowl - - - without ice cream. Which is very sad when you need it and want the calories.
