Tyra Banks is the “Hardest Working Person in Show Biz”

July 15, 2008 by Erin Balser

Tyra Banks was named the Hardest Working Person in Show Business by the Summer Pop Culture Poll on Parade.com. Tyra beat out Ryan Seacrest, Heidi Klum, and Diddy to claim the top spot.

I think it’s interesting that Oprah wasn’t on the list. Oprah did win Celeb you’d most like to live next door to, so it’s all good! Tyra does deserve this recognition though. She’s working on no less than four television shows–ANTM, Stylista, The Tyra Banks Show and that still super-secret ABC project with Ashton Kutcher.

Do you think Tyra deserves this prize? If not, who would you give it to?

  1. Ali :] says:

    doesnt she do queen bees?

  2. Erin says:

    @Ali

    I don’t think she’s directly involved, but it’s possible, esp. considering Dr. Michelle and Yoanna are on the show.

    But she could be…something to look up :-)

    I totally agree with this list. Tyra is hardworking. Have you seen the preview for her new show stylista. I’ll be watching, but from the previews, the show is awful, LOL. They had the “Anna Wintour” wannabe walk in like Meryl streep in The Devil wears prada. Unfortunately, she couldn’t walk very well in her heels, it’s actually hilairous.

    Really?! I haven’t seen anything yet, I want to though.

    and yeah, I don’t doubt tyra’s work ethic for a second! But I do think Heidi was a weird pick for the list.
