Top Models in Action: Whitney Thompson

Last night’s Top Model in Action was America’s Next Top Model Cycle 10 winner Whitney Thompson. Whitney has capitalized on being the first plus-sized model to win ANTM and has been working fairly steadily since her win. She’s a Fashion Bug spokesperson and has appeared in campaigns for MetroStyle, JC Penney and more.
I’m not the biggest fan of Whitney but I do believe she can have a long and healthy career as long as she understands her market. Based on the choices she’s made so far, I think she does!
Eh, it would have been nice if they’d have mentioned those things (JC Penney, MetroStyle) and shown the work instead of throwing in test shots, a cover on a mag that several ANTM girls have been in that a bunch of us are convinced is on Tyra’s payroll and mentioning that she had a contract with Elite and CG because, you know, those weren’t already part of her prize package….and I don’t even like Whitney. They might as well feature Naima.
