Top Models in Action: Nicole Linkletter

Last week’s Top Model in Action was Cycle 5 winner Nicole Linkletter. Nicole is perhaps best known for being part of the infamous granola bar incident with Bre. I’ll be honest–I didn’t think Nicole had any sort of decent career (other than occasionally appearing in LA Fashion Week), but she’s been working constantly in Asia. She’s back in the States now and will soon be the new face of Skechers. She’s also gone back to school, I think.
I never liked Nicole. I thought she was a good model and had a strong look, but her personality didn’t appeal to me. What about you?
nicole doesn’t have a “decent career”??!! she’s actually one of the few top models who has been really succesful after the show. if she’s modeling in Asia (like Elyse Sewell) and becoming the new face of Skecher’s, then she must be a true model and Tyra must have done something right. Nicole is fabulous.
I totally agree Erin, she just doesn’t strike me as a model at all, she’s got a safe look that does not work in her favor. I was highly dissapointed when they choose her over Nic.
I’ve always been neutral on Nicole. But I admit she’s had a decent career and Skecher’s is nothing to sneeze at. She probably could have/would have worked more but she has been going to school as well. She, Dani(elle), Jaslene and even Saleisha are the few winners from this modeling farce of a show that have actually continued to model. Going overseas is normal to an extent for a model to build a portfolio so her being in Asia makes sense. C8 Samantha is over there and doing well for herself.
i agree i never liked her either. her personality was very annoying and i hated her a lot during the granola bar thing even tho Bre was immature about it too.

But I agree with that person. I liked Nicole and I may be one of the few that does/did. I knew she would win from the beginning. She has that fresh face look which can go both commercial and runway.
I couldn’t stand Nicole. I was so mad when they picked her over Nik who I thought was far superior.

This tribute is exaggerating Nicole’s success as a model…in fact, her success has been mediocre. The Asia thing was blown out of proportion. She did one or two print work in Japan and now she did “tons” of work in Asia? Please.
Nicole left Ford cos she wasn’t getting work…just like Naima. She moved to L.A and things weren’t looking good either. That’s why she moved back to school. She did an interview with EW or some related magazine a couple of years ago talking about that.
The Sketchers thing might be her greatest achievement yet but then, who knows if she is really a spokes model or she was just a random model used for one of the sketchers ad. Ditching spears, hudgens and simpson to make Nicole a main spokes model? PLEASE!! Let’s get real.

NIK WAS HELLA UGLY! Wtf it looks like Nik’s eye’s are about to pop out of her head and she’s got some big ass fish lips. I’m so glad that jiggly walking bitch didn’t win.
I never really liked her either and i really think that Nik deserved to walk away with the title of America’s Next Top model.
Nicole is definitely the best winner. You’re all just blind, if you don’t see how beautiful she and stunning is!
