Top Models Damage New York Loft
According to the New York Post, the contestants on Cycle 10 of America’s Next Top Model turned their chic NY loft into a pigsty.
“These girls not only destroyed the floors, it appears they had food fights. There’s ketchup and coffee splattered all over the landlord’s $20,000 white drapes. There’s lipstick on the walls,” their source claims. “They moved in furniture and made holes all along the walls.”
Their source also claims the damages totaled over $500,000.
“The landlord is devastated,” the source adds. “Three other shows approached him [to use the loft] and he turned them all down for ‘Top Model.’ And a tenant was supposed to move in a week ago, but when the place wasn’t ready, they pulled out. Tyra Banks should be ashamed of herself.”
They are also claiming that Tyra only offered $125,000 to cover the damages.
I think filming a show like this must mean tons of renovations and changes to the location, especially if it’s not equipped for filming. However, those damages must be owned up to.
What do you think? Is this report true? Or an exaggeration?

If it is true, I don’t think Trya should be ashamed of herself– I think she should be ashamed of the girls! Tehy’re the ones who made the damage, after all.

I love Tyra, but she needs to pay up. And so does the CW network, those girls are ungrateful, they put you up in a home that you may never have and you pay them back by ruining the place?.

The girls are the ones to be ashamed of themselves. Tyra didn’t do anything wrong and it is not her fault. The girls that did the mess should pay but i guess they rely on the CW.

I am so digusted with this season’s girl. I have followed top model thru all the seasons and to hear news like this was shocking. For 1 Girls trying to be models should be way classier and should be able to behave. This is a total disgrace why did the producer and Tyra allow them to get so out of hand. Tyra has enough money she needs to pay up or be careful of the young ladies she choose. #2 CW has cameras everywhere they saw as the girls destroyed that house but that jumped they’re rating so who owes?

I’m a contractor, & am very familiar with job management, Rennovation pricing, & things related…Last year, I DESTROYED completely, 2 apt.’s in the trendy West Village, and combined both into one gigantic & swank loft/ residence…. that ENTIRE rennovation from demo, through complete rennovastion, including moving plumbing & electrical risers ran slightly over half a million…. to claim that much in damages is just simply greed & gouging in a very big way on the part of the landlord….shame on HIM for trying to take advantage of an industry with a very large budget…..typical NYC graft, if you ask me….
