Top Model Cycle 10 Contestants

Last week, Tyra narrowed the field down to the fourteen finalists who would get to compete to be America’s Next Top Model. This week will be the first true episode and will feature new judge Paulina Porizkova.
Just to refresh everyone’s memory, here are the contestants!
Aimee
Aimee is 18 and from Spanaway, Washington. She seemed pretty quiet last week, but is gorgeous!

Allison
Allison is 18 and from Waunakee, Wisconsin. Is it just me or does she look a little like Jaslene in this picture? Just a little?
Amis
Amis, 20, from Bartlesville, Oklahoma, was the other Amy, but Tya made her change her name. I wonder why she chose Amis–maybe a childhood nickname? I think Amis has the potential to go far. Miss J said she was “80s, but in a good way!”
Anya
Anya, 20, is from Honolul, Hawaii. She’ beautiful, but the judges had trouble with her accent. I couldn’t pinpoint it myself–she says she’s from Hawaii but it sounded a little Eastern European. Will she be able to overcome this obstacle?
Atalya
Atalya is 18 and from Brookyn, New York. She didn’t get a lot of screen time in the first episode, so I’m excited to see what she has in store!
Claire
Claire, 24 from New York, is a young mother. She is going to be a very interesting contestant. I wonder if she’ll be able to handle the “vanity” of modeling and the high-stress girl-infused environment in the house!
Dominique
I’ll be honest–I was disappointed when Tyra chose Dominique, 23, from Columbus, Ohio, as the 14th contestant. There were other girls who had far more unique looks. I think she looks a bit like Donatella Versace! Anyways, I hope Dominique proves me wrong!
Fatima
Fatima is gorgeous, but I thought it was strange how she provoked the other contestants and instantly offered up her story of female circumcision. She’s either brutally honest or extremely manipulative. I hope she makes it to makeover week–I’m excited to see what they do with her hair! Right now, it’s just too orange!
Katarzyna
Katarzyna has a degree from Cornell and Miss J called her “sex on sticks.” She’s 22 and from Roslyn, New York. Hopefully she isn’t as into her Ivy League education as last season’s Victoria!
Kimberly
Kim is 20 and is from Worcester, Massachusetts. She wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box, but she seems like a sweet girl.
Lauren
Lauren is 22 and is the second contestant from Brooklyn, New York. She’s this season’s punk one and cannot walk at all! Hopefully she blossoms quickly because her look is so unique.
Marvita
Marvita, 23, from San Francisco, California, almost made last cycle, but Tyra decided she wasn’t mentally strong enough. After some therapy, she’s back!
Stacy Ann
Stacy Ann is 22 and is from Hialeah, Florida. Her thick accent, young marriage and sweet demeanor is sure to make her an interesting contestant!
Whitney
20 year old Whitney, from Atlantic Beach, Florida, is this season’s plus-sized model She’s super confident, but I can’t help but wonder how unique her look is.

Kimberly, one question: “What the hell?!”
Didn’t you know that models work for designer who make absurdly priced clothing? Seriously! It’s so tired that these girl take up space for the ones who really want it. Talking about being honest…she should’ve been MORE honest with herself before auditioning for the show… idiot…UGH! What a waste!
I hope they contacted one of the girls left crying because their name wasn’t called to take dumbass’s spot.
TOTALLY!!!! OMG i was soo angry at kimberly for wasting their time. You’re supposed to think about what you want to accomplish or bring to the table as a model, and on this show, and obviously she didn’t spend enough time doing that. I feel bad for the talented girl who could’ve been the 14th. hopefully, though, kim does commercial modeling back in her home town or something because it would be a complete waste if she went through all this for nothing.
I bet you she just wanted to be on tv. Anyone who wants to seriously model would not have this attitude.
Oh and I just LOVED Miss Jay’s imitation of a drag queen’s voice!! It was SO funny!!!!!!!
The person that drives me CRAZY the most is Amis, I know she won’t be in the competition for long.

why is it that its a cycle full of pure white and no black people just a few to make it seem un races hate that dang tired of seeing white dang black girl better win this time and i aint playin better see lauren go home she the ugliest one on the cycle better not win or i migh just hurt somebody see how ugly that face is??????????her niceness does not compensate for that at all she nice but she got to go with that face i dont want to support an ugly model im sorry even with the makeup she scare me ughhhhhhhh
I adore Claire! I really really like her during casting. Now, post-makeover, I adore her. I think she can totally rock her new look!
I hesitate to mention who I’ve got in mind for the top five, because my record isn’t very good. I usually only get one or two of my picks that actually make it to that point. I know it’s early but here are my top five.

First off, If you’re going to criticize someone, you might want to speak proper English so people don’t think you’re a total moron. Secondly, um have you noticed that Tyra Banks is black? I’m not sure if you have (seeing as you’re not very bright), but she is. So the idea of the panel being racist is totally ridiculous. And Jaslene AND Salesha weren’t white. So I think you should find a hobby and stop trying to say everyone is racist.
