TMSS Round One: Norelle (3-5) vs. AJ (7-9)

Today’s first match-up featues a sweet brace-faced teenager and a tough girl who didn’t her a chance to shine when on the show.

The full face-off between Cycle 3’s Norelle Van Herk and Cycle 7’s AJ Stewart is below the jump!

Norelle was a bubbly and cute 20-year-old from California when she auditioned for ANTM. She definitely wasn’t the most awkward contestant they show has seen, but her braces really made her stand out! After her makeover, Norelle really stood out from the competition and her gorgeous features really let her shine in photo shoots. Norelle was eliminated in the ninth episode because she couldn’t transfer her photogenic prowess to her in-person presence.

I loved AJ, the 20-year-old cervical cancer survivor from California when she was on Cycle 7. Remember her cannibal photo? That was amazing. Unfortunately, AJ never really settled into the top model house and the judges were concerned with her desire to be in the competition and drive to be a true top model. It was for this reason they eliminated her in the sixth episode. However, the judges were wrong about this tough girl and she’s had a modeling career ever since leaving the show.
