]]> Tyra Banks’s top-secret development deal with Ashton Kutcher and ABC has finally been revealed! The show, called True Beauty is about finding the inner beauty of the contestants. The show will air in January 2009 and after it’s premiere will follow Samantha Who? in ABC’s line-up.

Six women and four men will live together in a mansion in Hollywood and compete in pageant-style competitions. However, the judges will be evaluating the contestants based on their in inner beauty-and the contestants are unaware of this. The show will be hosted by MTV’s Vanessa Minnillo and Cheryl Tiggs and Nole Martin will serve as judges. THe winner receives a cash prize and a spot on People’s 100 Most Beautiful People of 2009 list.

Does anyone else find the premise of this show to be pretty terrible? Also, why did ABC go for it? It seems like a show that would be more up VH1’s, MTV’s or the CW’s alley.

I’ll still tune in, though, just to see the inner workings of Tyra’s brain.
