Cycle 10’s Whitney Thompson and Cycle 4’s Brandy Rusher face-off below the jump!

I don’t think I need to say much about Whitney, seeing as she’s the latest winner of ANTM. Despite struggling in some photo shoots and the judges worrying about her fake attitude, she shone on the runway to become the winner of America’s Next Top Model and the first plus-sized winner. She plans on using her win as a platform to change the modeling industry and to encourage young girls to be confident in themselves and okay with their body type.

Brandy Rusher

Brandy was a 19-year-old aspiring model from Houston, Texas, when she tried out for the fourth Cycle of ANTM. While the judges felt she had a lot of promise, her attitude got her in a lot of trouble. She was saved from elimination once, but after she didn’t improve, the judges sent her packing in the fourth episode. After the show, Brandy intended to continue modeling, but I have no idea how that panned out for her.

Cycle 5’s Lisa D’Amato and Cycle 7’s Brooke Miller face-off below the jump!

Oh Lisa. Lisa, a 24-year-old from California, drove a lot of other contestants on the show crazy with her drinking and her antics. But the judges were continuously impressed with her strong photos. However, her confidence began to feel like cockiness and arrogance to the judges, and it is for that reason she was sent home in the tenth episode. She’s still modeling and involved in the entertainment industry, but hasn’t been able to parlay her time on ANTM into anything substantial.

Brooke Miller

Brooke, an 18-year-old from Texas, will forever be remembered as the girl who was eliminated on her high school graduation day. Brooke was short and sweet and, despite not having the strongest photos, won the judges over with her enthusiasm and determination to do well. That didn’t carry her far, and she was finally eliminated during the seventh episode, when it was decided she just didn’t have the same potential as the other girls. After the show, Brooke attended the University of Texas and still aspires to model.

Cycle 2’s Camille McDonald and Cycle 4’s Rebecca Epley face-off below the jump!

Camille was a 25-year-old student from Howard University when she appeared on the second cycle of ANTM. On the show, Camille became more known for her arrogance and bad attitude than she did for her modeling. It was finally her attitude that forced the judges to eliminate her in the eighth episode. She wasn’t being responsive to criticism and was very defensive in front of the judges. Since the show, Camille has continued to model.

Rebecca Epley

Rebecca was a 22-year-old from Minnesota who is perhaps best known for being part of a shocking double-elimination when Tyra decided that both her and Tiffany Richardson weren’t model enough to move on, Tiffany for her attitude and Rebecca for her inability to do well in the photo shoots. Since the show, Rebecca has had a moderately successful modeling career.

Cycle 4’s Naima Mora and Cycle 2’s Anna Bradfield face-off below the jump!

Naima Mora

Naima, a 20-year-old from Detroit, was the winner of the fourth cycle of America’s Next Top Model. The judges were constantly impressed with her constant improvement throughout the show, ending in a fierce water-runway showdown. Since ANTM, Naima has done some modeling and acting, but is currently focusing on her music career.

Anna Bradfield

Anna was a 24-year-old mom from Georgia, and the plus-sized contestant during Cycle 2. She also upheld a high moral code, which prevented her from participating in the near-nude first photo shoot. Ultimately, this decision caused her to be sent packing to her baby boy. She didn’t regret this decision, even though it cut her time on the show–and ultimately her modeling career–short.

Cycle 7’s Melrose Bickerstaff and Cycle 10’s Atalya Slater face-off below the jump.

Melrose Bickerstaff

Melrose (she “don’t need no issa”) was a 23-year-old aspiring model from California when she tried out for Cycle 7 of ANTM. Even though she often photographed a bit old and was a bit of a know-it-all, her improvement throughout the show led to stunning pictures, which impressed the judges. She rocked the final runway showdown, but in the end, lost out to CariDee English, because the judges felt Melrose was too mechanical and not vivacious enough. Since the show, Melrose has been involved in lots of different modeling and fashion projects in California.

Atalya Slater

Atalya, an 18-year-old student from Brooklyn, New York, was no nice and normal and sweet that the judges had to send her home first. Well, the judges actually sent her home because they felt she was too commercial and didn’t have the appeal of a high fashion model. After appearing on the show, Atalya went back to school and is planning on going to college and pursue a modeling career.

Cycle 3’s Nicole Borud and Cycle 1’s Katie Cleary face-off below the jump!

Nicole was an openly bisexual 21-year-old from North Dakota when she appeared on the third cycle. She was formerly in a punk rock band before she decided to pursue modeling. While on ANTM, she impressed the judges with her originality but never really stood out and was eliminated in the ninth episode when she tanked the Japanese Cover Girl commercial. The judges said she wasn’t memorable enough and sent her home. Nicole now lives in California, and I’m uncertain as to whether she’s pursuing music or modeling.

Katie Cleary

Katie was a 21-year-old inspiring model and animal activist from Illinois when she auditioned for the first cycle of ANTM. She didn’t last very long on the show, being eliminated in the second episode because the judges felt that she was being overly sexually and not high fashion in her photos. Katie, however, has successfully parlayed her brief stint on ANTM into bit film and movie roles, as well as being one of the models on Deal or No Deal. She carries Case #11.

Cycle 1’s Robin Manning and Cycle 2’s Jenascia Chakos face off below the jump!

Robin was a 26-year-old pagaent queen from Memphis, Tennesse when she appeared on the first cycle of ANTM. She was one of the oldest contestants ever to compete and also qualified as a plus-sized model. Her big personality and strong Christian beliefs caused quite a bit of conflict in the house between her and her castmates. In the end, it was her not-so-ideal body type and her refusal to participate in a nude photo shoot that sent her packing in the second-last episode of the cycle.

Jenascia Chakos

While Robin was one of the oldest contestants to compete on ANTM, Jenasica was one of the shortest. The 21-year-old Hooters waitress from Washington state was very emotional during her time on the show, letting being late to a photo shoot affect her performance. In the end, she was eliminated in the fourth episode because the judges didn’t think she had what it took to overcome her short stature.

This match-up features a contestant found in a mall and a contestant who came into the show an accomplished fencer!

Cycle 6’s Sara Albert and Cycle 2’s Xiomara Frans face-off below the jump!

Sara Albert was a 22-year-old full scholar at Georgetown University when she was discovered in a mall and asked to be on ANTM. The 6′1″ Californian beauty did very well on the show, consistently bringing in strong picture after strong picture. However, the judges were worried about her height (the typical model is 5′9″-5′11″, but there are exceptions!) and her dedication to the industry. The elephant incident, where she “copied” Joanie’s pose instead of trying her own thing only causes the judges to further question her desire to be a model and her commitment to the industry. In the end, she was sent home because the judges thought the other girls wanted to win more. Since appearing on the show, Sara finished school and has done some work as a model.

Xiomara Frans

Xiomara Frans came into ANTM a junior Olympic fencer and was a finalist in the 1999 Ford Supermodel Search. The 25-year-old from New York initially impressed the judges with her poise and potential, but eventually her weak walk, poor skin and her dead eyes caused the judges to eliminate her in the 5th episode of cycle 2. After the show, she modeled for Hugo Boss, but I don’t know what she is doing now.

Cycle 1’s Ebony Haith and Cycle 4’s Tatiana Dante face-off below the jump!

Tatiana was a sweet, quiet 18-year-old from Hawaii, whose interesting heritage led to her exotic good looks. Her demure personality meant she never really fit in in the house and while she always delivered solid photographs, she never really stood out from the pack. That’s why, in the eighth episode she was eliminated. That and the judges thought the other girl in the bottom two (Michelle Deighton) wanted it more. After the show, Tatiana moved to New York to try modeling but saw little success.

Ebony Haith

Ebony might have been my favorite girl in the first cycle. She was very opinionated, strong-willed and just a little bit crazy. Ebony came into the house a 24-year-old from Harlem and had already tried and failed in the modeling world. She wanted this show to act as a platform to invigorate her career. She was the first openly gay contestant the show had, and she butted heads with a lot of girls in the house. While she was a strong contestant in the beginning, she stumbled on the commercial. That poor performance and her attitude caused the judges to send her home in episode four.

Cycle 9’s Bianca Golden and Cycle 2’s Heather Blumberg face-off below the jump!

When Bianca, an 18-year-old from Queens, first showed up on ANTM, I couldn’t stand her. But after her near-bald makeover and a few more episodes, she slowly became one of my favorites during Cycle 9. She made the top four, but was eliminated because she didn’t have the “innate talent” the other remaining girls did. That being said, Bianca has seen consistent work since her run on the show, and even appeared in the season finale show of Project Runway.

Heather Blumberg

Heather Blumberg was a sweet 18-year-old from California when she auditioned for the second cycle of Top Model. She didn’t last very long and was eliminated in the third episode because she lacked experience and wasn’t versatile. They thought she looked too young and wouldn’t be able to adapt enough to be a well-used model. Heather isn’t modeling anymore and currently lives in Wisconsin.
