McKey Sullivan on The Tyra Banks Show

McKey Sullivan made an appearance on Monday’s episode of The Tyra Banks Show. It was fantasy makeover day where Tyra gave four inspiring women the makeover of their dreams.
McKey stopped by to talk about how her life has changed since Top Model, her cage fighting past, and shows off some of her mixed martial arts skills. McKey helped out with the photo shoot aspect of these fantasy makeovers, helping the girls pose for their fantasy photo shoots. We also get to meet McKey’s boyfriend Sam. He seems like a really sweet and supportive guy.
I’m really not a fan of McKey’s “fantasy makeup” but I guess it just goes with the theme of the show. I love Tyra’s mom and how she was cheering for McKey the entire time!

The Tyra Banks Show to Air on CW

The Tyra Banks Show is coming to the CW network! Starting in Fall 2009, Tyra will air weekdays at 3pm and again at 4pm.
“We are excited to join forces with The CW to bring The Tyra Banks Show to the network for its fifth season. In its four seasons on the air, the show has built a devoted audience among Women 18-49 while helping stations grow among the young female viewers that associate strongly with Tyra herself,” said Ken Werner, president of Warner Bros.
I think it’s a great fit. The CW aspires to be the network for young adults and Tyra’s audience is consistently the youngest out all the daytime programs.
“I’m thrilled to have The Tyra Banks Show join The CW, where I already have an amazing partnership and where my audience knows to look for me,” said Banks. “With ‘Top Model’ in primetime and ‘The Tyra Banks Show’ in daytime, it’s a match made in heaven.”
The real question is whether or not the Top Model audience will tune in to see Tyra on in the daytime. Will you?
