Paulina Porizkova, judge on America’s Next Top Model took a few moments last week to answer questions from fans in the CW Lounge–a place where usually the eliminated models stop by to chat.

She chats about what qualities she looks for in contestants, Whitney Thompson, her love for Lauren, Nigel Barker, judging panel and more. She’s absolutely ruthless in her answers, just like she is in her critiques on the show.

As mean as she can be sometimes, I love Paulina. She’s the fresh face that the judging panel needed last season and I’m glad she stuck around for this cycle.

Former Calvin Klein model Bruce Hulse wrote a tell-all book about the behind-the-scenes exploits of the world’s biggest supermodels, including Elle Macpherson, Andie MacDowell, Tatjana Patitz, and ANTM judge Paulina Porizkova.

The book, titled Sex, Love and Fashion, is a “steamy memoir” recalling “days of tireless bed-hopping.”

The New York Post published a few teeny excerpts from the book today, including this diddy about Paulina:

“I arrived at Paulina’s hotel room . . . only to find her wearing next to nothing. I was doomed. Within seconds we were all over each other,” Hulse writes. “We completely tore up the hotel room.”

While I don’t about the truthfulness of Bruce’s claims (although they may be embellished quite a bit!), I think this is a skeezy way to cash in on other people’s fame.

The book, which is being published by Harmony Books, will be available in August.

We watched Paulina Porizkova for a whole cycle now and I was wondering what everyone thought of her! While she’s definitely more vocal than her predecessor Twiggy, she’s no where near as outrageous as original Top Model judge Janice Dickinson.

I think she’s honest, but has a tendency to play favorites and has a really narrow view of some of the girls–she doesn’t let them grow in her eyes. But a lot of her criticisms are bang-on and are fairly constructive.

Paulina will chat about her childhood and her past drug use and her true feelings about the fashion industry. Nigel will chat about his career as a model and as a photographer, how he feels about being a sex symbol and crazy encounters with fans.

It sounds like it will be a fun show. I love Paulina and I know she will be great. What sort of things do you hope they talk about?

America’s Next Top Model’s newest judge, Paulina Porizkova turns 43 today!

Former America’s Next Top Model judge, Janice Dickinson scoffed at the Nigel Barker’s claim that new judge Paulina Porizkova is the new Janice.

“Oh please, there’s no one like me!” Janice says to In Touch Weekly. “Nigel has nothing else to say. He’s a stamped, copy-written, Grade-A piece of beef.”

Janice left the show after the fifth season to work on other projects. She’s very opinionated about how the show has changed and about the newer judges!

“Top Model lost a lot of punch when I left,” she says. “The judges on that show are under Tyra’s magic, I respect the hell out of Ms. Banks, but I don’t like her very much.”

I loved Janice as a judge, but am uncertain about how true her claims are. Do you agree with Janice about the show going down hill? Or were you glad to see her go?

Paulina Porizkova, the newest judge on America’s Next Top Model, used to be known as the model who hated modeling. This why some people are calling her a hypocrite for accepting a position as judge on ANTM.

“For somebody who’s been as dismissive of modeling as I have been, it is complete insanity. Talk about contradicting myself. I’m perfectly aware of it,” she said to the Nartional Ledger.

Paulina says Tyra Banks asked her to come on the show for that very reason.

“They called me before to do it, but they were shooting in L.A. so it was not an option because I would not leave New York. Tyra called again and said, ‘We’re moving the show to New York. Would you be interested now?’ I said, ‘Tyra, you do know who you’re talking to? You remember that I’m the girl who officially hates modeling?’ She was laughing and said, ‘Yes, I know exactly who I’m calling. That’s why I want you — because you bring something different.’”

Paulina says she’s still the same and that her perception of the industry hasn’t changed. But it’s this attitude and experience she feels that will help the girls competing on the show.

Brand new ANTM judge Paulina Porizkova is ready and willing to fill the role of “mean” judge.

“I much prefer to be Simon [Cowell] than Paula [Abdul],” Porizkova told the NY Daily News. “No offense to Paula but, yeah, offense to Paula; I’m sorry, but she needs to snap out of it. When I watch ["American Idol"], I don’t care what Paula says, I’m just looking at her [and thinking], ‘What weird thing is she going to come up with next?’ You have no respect for her opinion.”

Paulina comes into ANTM with a true understanding of the contemporary modeling and fashion industries.

“I’m very happy I’m not working on a show that’s called ‘The Next Supermodel’ or something like that because then I’d feel like we were lying,” she said. “The supermodel is dead, but ‘America’s Next Top Model’ has a really good thing: its own niche.”You become ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and that’s who you are and that’s something.”

Paulina also admitted she plays favorites on the show–so watch out!
