McKey Sullivan: My Life as a CoverGirl Episode #11

Last night’s installment of My Life as a CoverGirl finally brought us the Tibi/Make-a-Wish runway show McKey Sullivan has been prepping for all season. It’s a nearly wordless 30-second piece that shows the different looks McKey wore while on the catwalk. Apparently the Make-a-Wish girls got to walk in this show too, but this was a MLAACG that was all about McKey.

McKey looked gorgeous, almost a throwback to the supermodels of the ’90s. I love it. Next week’s segment will probably be a look back at McKey’s entire MLAACG journey. What do you think of McKey’s commercials?

In this week’s episode of My Life as a CoverGril, Cycle 11 winner McKey Sullivan is backstage at the Tibi fashions how, getting ready to step on the catwalk and put on a show! Makeup artist Sutan makes another appearance, talking about how CoverGirl makeup is going to make McKey shine. I don’t mind this integration of product promotion, as it’s seamless and fits the scene. Plus, any screen time Sutan gets is fine by me!

It looks like next week is the big finale! I like the mini-narrative this cycle’s MLAACG commercials have had. They all relate to fashion and modeling and aren’t as disjointed as some in season’s past.

I wonder what the Cycle 12 winner’s commercials are going to look like.

In the most recent episode of My Life as a CoverGirl, Cycle 11 winner McKey Sullivan does a walk through for an upcoming fashion show. Sutan, who is getting quite a bit of screen time in these commercials, shows McKey her overall look for the show.

McKey’s commercials are improving. I like the fashion show narrative and the Make-a-Wish tie-in. I’m actually pretty excited for the finale fashion show.

Last night we were treated to another episode of My Life as a CoverGirl starring Cycle 11 winner McKey Sullivan. In this segment, McKey helps another Make-A-Wish girl whose dream was to be a fashion model. McKey and Harper’s Bazaar fashion editor Mary Alice Stephenson give Ashley the skills and confidence she needs to shine on the runway.

I’m actually really excited to see the Tibi/Make-A-Wish fashion show. It will be great to see McKey working it and to see all these girls whose dreams came true thanks to Tibi, CoverGirl and McKey!

On last night’s episode of My Life as a CoverGirl, Cycle 11 winner McKey Sullivan went to her make-up consult for the Tibi/Make-a-wish fashion show she will be walking in later. The make-up artist (Sutan!!) walks her through the palette and products he chose and shows how they relate to the Tibi collection and the designers vision.

Did you watch last night’s episode of America’s Next Top Model? The cycle 12 contestants came by to one of McKey’s shoots and she baked them a cake! She’s so sweet!

In last night’s My Life as a CoverGirl episode, Cycle 11 America’s Next Top Model winner McKey Sullivan worked it at a CoverGirl photo shoot. Of course, her smoking hot Tibi clothing and LashBlast Luxe mascara gave her that something extra-special so she’d really shine.

I think it was really smart of Tibi to partner with ANTM and CoverGirl for these commercials. They’re a fresh, young brand that should appeal to ANTM fans and it’s not that expensive. Plus, it helps legitimize these commercial as McKey actually gets to do fashion-related things.

On last night’s episode of America’s Next Top Model, the fourth episode of McKey Sullivan’s My Life as a CoverGirl commercials aired. In this commercial, McKey is at a radio interview, talking about what it’s like to be a CoverGirl and her work with the Make-a-Wish foundation.

McKey is getting more natural with her voiceover with every commercial, which is good to see. I also love this Make-a-Wish thread they’ve put into ever episode. It really gives the commercials more purpose.

McKey Sullivan in Tibi/Make-a-Wish Fashion Show

McKey Sullivan, winner of Cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model, walked in a special CoverGirl and Tibi fashion show. A girl from the Make-a-Wish foundation, whose dream was to be a fashion model, also walked in the show.

Pat & Carolyn from A Blog About Things went to the show (jealous!). Here’s the video they took of the event.

McKey looked gorgeous, but her walk still needs a bit of improvement. I love how she and CoverGirl are using her My Life as a CoverGirl spots to do some good in the world. I wonder whose idea that was.

This fashion show is going to show up in a future My Life as a CoverGirl spot!

Last night was the third episode of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11 winner McKey Sullivan’s My Life as a CoverGirl segments. It was really cute and sweet. They showed McKey at a Make a Wish photo shoot, where the girl’s dream was to be a model. McKey and the girl did a photo shoot together. It’s really cute!

McKey’s CoverGirl commercials are pretty impressive so far. I wonder what other types of subjects they are going to tackle, they still need to do a fashion show and a commercial!

Whitney Thompson My Life As a Cover Girl: Episode #10

Last night’s episode of My Life as a Cover Girl featured Whitney Thompson wandering around New York City talking about how everyone can be a Cover Girl-you just need to believe it. And do you know what helps you believe that? Using Cover Girl make-up, of course!

I still think these commercials and beautiful and well-done, but I’m sick of the philosophical musings about nothing. It’s more fun to see Whitney living her life as a model-castings, commercials, fashion shows, that kind of thing.
