ANTM 13.12 “America’s Next Top Model is…” Photo Shoot
November 19, 2009 by Erin Balser
On last night’s America’s Next Top Model finale, the two finalists, Nicole and Laura, did the traditional CoverGirl commercial and photo shoot. Both girls did a great job, with Laura shining in the commercial and Nicole putting out a stronger performance in the print ad.
Below are the girls’ ads! Which do you like better?

Saleisha Stowers My Life as a Covergirl Episode Twelve

Here is the final My Life As a Covergirl commercial that Saleisha Stowers did. It’s actually one of her better commercials, she looks and feels more natural in front of the camera. It’s almost too bad that the commercials are over.
What will new Top Model winner, Whitney Thompson’s, commercials be like?

Whitney’s Covergirl commercial isn’t bad at all. She read the lines really clearly. I just wish that she had more personality. You know, if Tyra ever admitted that the Top Model winner was a spokesperson with a cause, and not a true top model, Whitney’s win would make so much more sense.
I wonder what her My Life As a Covergirl commercials are going to be like!

Fatima is trying so hard during her Covergirl commercial, but it comes across as rush and stiffed! If she had only slowed down and remembered to breathe, it would have been a much better commercial!
It’s not that bad, though. I wonder why all three finalists struggled so much with the commercial. I don’t remember a cycle when the final commercial(s) were this bad. But then, a lot of the final commercials starred all three finalists and were spliced together. I wonder why they changed it.

The first time I watched this commercial, I thought it was a train wreck. But after watching it again, I realize the judges were right. While Anya’s line read was definitely the worst, she was the most natural and most comfortable in front of the camera.
Still, I don’t think Anya is going to get lots of spokesperson jobs anytime soon. I hope she manages to jumpstart a successful high fashion career!
Saleisha Stowers My Life as a Covergirl Episode Eleven

Here is the eleventh installment of Saleisha Stowers My Life as a Covergirl. Honestly, I’m glad Saleisha’s reign is coming to and end. Her commercials never felt natural, always forced.
I love how in this one, she says “I used…” when referring to the makeup she wore on the runway. Now, I’m pretty sure that she didn’t write the lines herself, but it’s still a small oversight, considering most fashion shows have teams of makeup people.
Saleisha Stowers My Life as a Covergirl Episode Ten

Here is the tenth edition of Saleisha Stowers My Life as a Covergirl commercials. They’ve all been pretty boring so far, she’s so stiff!
Who out of this cycle would have the best Covergirl commercials? If their Italian Covergirl commercials were any indication, Anya’s would be delightful incoherent, Dominique’s would be hilariously ghetto fabulous, Whitney’s would be an uber-fake pageant queen and Fatima’s would be like those late-night phone chat commercials.
Whose would you want to watch the most week-to-week?

Here is last week’s episode of Saleisha Stowers My Life as a Covergirl.
Do you think she is really in a position to give modeling advice? She hasn’t been a professional model very long!
