]]> Toccara Jones is on the list of celebrities who will make a special appearance at the BET Foundation’s Summer Camp for Girls this year. The camp, which runs from July 20-27, is designed to teach young African-American girls (ages 10-12) about healthy living, responsible choices and the importance of self-esteem, confidence and personal identity.

Other guest celebrities include Keri Hilson, Tiffany Evans, Teyanna Taylor and Miss Black USA, Kristen White. The celebs will be there to share their experiences and offer the girls advice and support.

I think it’s fantastic that Toccara is taking part in this camp. Not only has BET been great to Toccara throughout her career, she’s an inspiring role model for young girls everywhere. All you have to do is look at her recent Vogue spread to see that being confident, true-to-yourself and willing to work hard is all you need to get places.
