June 21, 2009 by Erin Balser

Casting for Cycle 14 of America’s Next Top Model starts soon! This cycle, things will return to normal, as only girls who are 5′7″ and over are eligible to apply. You must also be between the ages of 18-27 and be either a US citizen or a permanent resident and live in the United States and not have participated in a national modeling campaign in the past five years. You can find the complete eligibility requirements here.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 12

(Note: why would they give Celia a hard time about being old, but make the requirements up to 27? The Canada’s Next Top Model cut-of age was 23!)

You can audition by sending in a video application or by attending a casting call. The online application is here.

Casting calls will be taking place during June and July. Complete list of casting calls is below the jump!

ANTM Cycle 13 Miami Casting Call

March 1, 2009 by Erin Balser

The Sun Sentinel covered the casting call for Cycle 13 of America’s Next Top Model in Miami. The call was held on Saturday, February 28 at the Eden Roc Beach Resort and Spa. Over 1000 girls showed up to audition, and they had to show the judges their “Miami flavour”. The casting directors tried to get spirits up by getting the girls screaming and clapping.

According to a Top Model Live Journal poster, the girls were first divided into random groups of 100 or so. They then had to say their name, age, height and weight. From that, the casting directors selected 7 girls to move on to meet with the casting directors, and that part is shown in the video.

These auditions are very different from the auditions I attended for Canada’s Next Top Model. At the CNTM auditions, every girl met with Elmer Olsen or his associate and walked for him. It probably meant the auditions were much longer, but I think it’s a more fair assessment of the girls’ modeling potential and personality.

I wonder if any of the girls we saw in this video are going to make it to the semi-finals in New York City!

Apply for Cycle 13 of America’s Next Top Model

February 17, 2009 by Erin Balser

Cycle 13 of America’s Next Top Model is now casting!

You can apply one of two ways - either attend an open casting call (see below) or send in a video application. There’s not a lot of information about the casting calls yet, just cities and dates for most of them, but I’ll keep you updated as more information is revealed!

The application is here. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-27 and must be a US citizen or a permanent resident.

Interestingly, the application is asking for those 5′7″ and under to apply. It clearly states this in both the application and in the eligibility requirements. This is either the biggest typo ever and some intern somewhere is getting fired as I type this, or Cycle 13 is going to be all about finding the next top petite model!

Here is what I have so far about the casting calls:

10:00am-3:00pm
Eden Roc (A Renaissance Beach Resort and Spa)
4525 Collins Avenue

Tuesday, March 3 – San Francisco, California
10:00am-3:00pm
The Westin San Francisco Market Street

June 23, 2008 by Erin Balser

The CW has posted the application form and open call cities and dates for the auditioning process for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12. As always, you need to be an American citizen 18-27 years of age, over 5′7″ and never had a national modeling campaign in the last five years.

The application is pretty rigorous, it’s 15 pages long and they ask you lots of personal questions.

Cities & dates are below the jump!

Good luck to everyone who auditions and let me know how it goes!
