Poll: Which ANTM Winner is the Worst?

Last week, I asked you which ANTM winner was your favorite and Adrianne Curry came out on top (thanks, in part, to a plug she put on her MySpace). This week, I want to ask: which winner is your least favorite?
There have been 10 winners of America’s Next Top Model. Some, like Yoanna House and Eva Pigford have gone on to achieve moderate levels of fame. Some, like CariDee English are parlaying their fame into being a spokesperson for a cause. Others are pretty much nobodies, popping up a low-caliber events and random modeling shoots.
There have been some really close races too. Runners-up like Nik Pace and Melrose Bickerstaff has a strong shot going into the finals and were narrowly beat. A close race like that can make or break a winner. Do fans like them more because they had to work for their win? Or do they like them less because they beat out another equally-deserving girl?
Another factor to consider is how they behaved throughout the entire show. Were they grateful and gracious? Were they fierce on camera and on the catwalk? How did the treat Tyra? And the other competitors?
Whatever you use to gage the ANTM winners, I’m sure everyone has a winner they hate. A winner they are so angry at Tyra for choosing. Mine is Nicole Linkletter.
I think Nicole is gorgeous and was a decent model, but I couldn’t stand the way she carried herself throughout the competition. She was weak and whiny and unappreciative. I also thought Nik has a really unique look and was gorgeous, but will admit her runway walk needed some work.
What about you? Who do you hate? And why?
I think Saleisha was the worst because her win was planned and she had experience. She wasn’t the most deserving and wasn’t the best competitior. Her walk was good but her pics weren’t as good as Chantal’s, who I really liked! I also didn’t like Whitney, even though I think it is good that a plus sized girl won. Her personality wasn’t fresh or bubbly, and she had a bad attitude. She bashed skinny girls, even though most of them can’t help it. Her walk also wasn’t good, and we know Tyra needed a plus girl to win. I know Nicole was whiny, but she was young, and she is gorgeous. Chantal, Nik, Anya, and Kahlen were my fave runner ups.
Although I agree that Nicole was completely annoying and the win should have gone to Nik, the greatest tragedy was Saleisha being handed the title by Tyra and doing nothing to earn it. In the finale they barely reviewed portfolios, because we all know that the best one by far was Jenah’s.
My favorite runner-up (and contestant) was Joanie. Her loss was tempered by the win of Danielle, whom I thought was also quite good, so it was easier to handle.
In Nicole’s defense, wasn’t she only 18 when the show taped? A lot of the contestants are in their early 20’s. I know I was a lot whinier when I was 18. She also seems to have done quite a lot of modeling after her win, although I’m not sure it kept up as she got older.
My favorite runners up were Kahlen, Joanie, and Chantal.

naima was my least fave by far…just so boring and unattractive. it was funny because she looked ok on the show, but any pics i saw of her after she looked bloated and hideous. plus she has done absolutely nothing since her season ended. yoanna is my fave winner, followed by jaslene, whitney, danielle, eva, caridee, nicole, saleisha, and adrienne. best runner-up was joanie, of course, followed by chantal, mercedes, nik, shannon, anya, natasha, yaya, kahlen, and last and definitely least miss smellrose
Chris, Elyse wasn’t runner-up, it was Shannon.
Anyways the worst winner is Saleisha. She is a cheating cheater who cheated her way to the top, she broke eligibility rules, she was pre-determined by Tyra and she is a bad model. the only thing she has going for her is her walk and even that isn’t that good, it’s quite bouncy. The real shame is that at the very least Heather, Victoria, Ebony, Chantal, Bianca, Lisa, Sarah and Jenah were awesome models and she “beat” all of them mostly for personality reasons, even though she was phony as hell and very disrepectful, especially towards Jenah (the finale) and Heather (the bed in China and the shower). Nigel used to say that you need class, dignity and respect to win ANTM, then why did he pull for her?
Wow, that was a nice rant.
Other winners I dislike are Naima, she was just blah, had zero charisma and beat Kahlen, whiny Nicole and Jaslene, too thin and just something that irrationally doesn’t work for me.
saliseha was a bads modle.
no doubt on Saleshia. The title was basically handed to saleshia, and in my opinion she only took ONE good shot where she stood out. I was upset that Jennah didn’t make it farther, seeing as her pictures were amazing, and although she didn’t have a shining personality all the time, she was much more relatable than Saleshia.
BTW, for anyone who wants to laugh, youtube Henry Evil and watch his review on cycle 9/10. Tres amusant!
nicole cause she’s just not that good
There were a ton of badass runner ups! Which means they should have won!
Cycle 1- I wanted Shannon to win.
Cycle 2- Yoanna was fun with me.
Cycle 3- I liked Eva and Yaya.
Cycle 4- Kahlen all the way! Naima was gross!
Cycle 5-This is a toughie cuz I liked Nicole and Nik. Nik won personality but she didn’t have all the model stuff down and Nicole looked like a model but could be annoying.
Cycle 6- JOANIE! I like her a lot and wanted her to win soooo bad! She was ah-mazing!
Cycle 7- I liked Caridee out of the top 3. I didn’t like (S)Melrose and Eugena, but there were other people farther back that were good.
Cycle 8-Jaslene all the way! Natasha was like a used car saleman, not only in the way she tried to convince people, but also that she is cheap and trashy. Renee was too old looking in her pics.
Cycle 9 – Grrrr I hate Saleisha! Chantal was wayyyy better and hse was awesomely fantastic! I wish she won sooo bad! Saleisha didn’t even try.
Cycle 10- I’m mad about this one too!It s good a plus girl won, but not Whitney! Anya was far superior in all aspects of modeling, and her attitude. Whitney was sour and mean and disrespectful, she is lucky Tyra needed a plus girl.

I have to agree about Naima – blah!
But I really liked Nicole and thought that she handled the stolen energy drink with surprising maturity! My problem with Nik was that I thought she was hiding herself! She made a few comments about not liking the other girls and keeping her enemies closer but seemed to hide behind everyone and everything the rest of the time! It made me think she wasn’t a very genuine person!
The same was true for Saliesha! Chantal (whether you liked it or not) seemed to have a more consistent personality!
The only other cycle I will comment on is cycle 1 – personally I liked Elyse best out of all the girls! I thought Shannon should have found some way to compromise during the nude shout instead of hiding behind Robin and Adrienne was just too abrasive for me!
I picked Saleisha: She’s ugly, ugly, ugly and certainly not model material. I didn’t like Chantal either. To me, she looked like an ordinary girl and had un-even eyes (one of them was droopy). I agree with everyone else regarding Naima. She was just SO blah and not strong in her pictures compared to Kahlen. I think, though, that in ANTM, it doesn’t matter how strong your portfolio was, what counts is the final fashion show. If you screw that up regardless how you posed in your pictures, you’re toast. Case in point: Anya and Kahlen – both did poorly during the fashion show, yet had very strong pictures. Very unfair.
I agree that Saleisha was DEFINITELY the least deserving winner, but she didn’t bother me as a person or contestant whereas nicole did. that’s why i chose her over saleisha
CariDee is definatley my number 1 fave. she is my hero i love her sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much.i wish we were sisters. heres wat i think and how i wanted it to go for each cycle
1- umm tryed 2 watch it but it was so boring so idk but adrianne scares me so she mite be the worst and also i heard that shes not really a winner cuz she insulted antm
2-i never watched it cuz its never on like mtv and all that anymore so i cant say but i do no that yoanna is successful
3-AMANDA! with out a doubt she was so awesome and she deserved to win. i didnt hate eva diva tho.
4- REBECCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg i love this girl so much. i dont even no why tyra eliminated her. she took good pix and had the best walk and she wasnt rude or cocky she seemed so nice. why couldnt she eliminated someone else there were alot weaker girls who should have gotten eliminated a not becca. my second fave was kahlen. she should have won i dont even no why they picked naima. and my 2 faves are bffs to this day…. how ironic. i hated tiffany tho she seemed cocky and unappreciative and she still scares me
5- NICOLE! she was awesome. and i agree that she was only 18 and the other girls were in there early 20s. shes my 3rd fave winner. i hated bre and lisa. to this day they still scare me.
6-JOANIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i lov her i love her i luv her!!!!!!!! she rocked it and she definatley should have won. shes from about a half an hour away from were i live so thats pretty cool. and i look like her in a way. dani is ok but i dont hate her. i really h8ed jade. she had such a bad attitude and liek lisa bre and tiffany they still scare me to this day.

8-NATASHA!!!!!!!!!!! yep she should have won without a doubt love her and shes been through soo much so she deserved it. i like her cool accent 2
and her little girl is ah-dorale ive seen pics. i didnt hate jaslene tho she was ok. i really couldnt stand renee. she was so mean 2 natasha and she also still scares me.
9-HEATHER JENAH AND CHANTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! luv them! they should have been the final 3. bianca was the 1 i couldnt stand shes a total bitch. she still scares me. and it really annoys me how saleisha probably had it all set up that she would win.why did she even enter the competition? she alreay was gettin started in modeling.
10-WHITNEY KAT AND AIMEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! luv them to. i dont even no why kat and aimee were kicked off. they were great and still are. whitney is my second fave winner. i think that its awesome that she trying to reshape the industry.i have her and caris seventeen mag and nicoles ellegirl mag cuz there the only winners that i care about.i coundlnt stand dominique and fatima. the both seemed like bitches and why is fatima now bald? it scares me. they both still scare me. i didnt hate anya but she wasnt my fave either

Jaslene looked like a total tranny, and was a total bitch.
My favorite contestant everrrrr is Kahlen. She took amazinggg pictures.
I think on ANTM they should have more shots of Adrianne Curry. I mean she was the first winner of the show. Plus she’s an amazing model. Shes a good person and deserves to be on the show more than the other winners.
I think that it is very funny that this blog believes that the main reason Adrianne won the last poll was because of fans like me from myspace. Well I guess that we just care about our favorite more. Adrianne is the best. But yall can feel how yall want to. I still think that Adrianne beats all!!!
My fav has to be heather, i think she should have won, she had great potential. In my opinion the worst had to be whitney aka shitney, tyra had that heffer picked out in her head from day 1, she just thought it was time for a “plus sized” model to win. There were soooo many better plus sized models then her…. anya was sooo much better then her.
In response to I love caridee…. You’re a freak caridee was shit compared to most of those other girls, the twins were amazing and deserved it way more then her.
Every top model that won- I never liked with the exception of Adrienne and Eva.
They always seemed to get rid of the unique beauties. Here I thought this is what makes a successful model in the first place?
There needs to be a edge to these girls- and most of them are so darn plain- that they never become anything after the show is done.
If I were Tyra- I would’ve done things so differently.
I think that CariDee, hands down did not win that last fashion runway. How could she win at the end. There are obvious ladies that just hated on Melrose, but she came through every challenge practically on top each time. Then, when CariDee disrespected Nigel and then to win at the end. Horrid! These girls turn into people they had no idea they could become. Sometimes, that is not sooo— good. Melrose spoke a little of her mind and won 97% since day one and came in second. Now, you tell me that’s a true number 2?
I modeled since a teenager and love the fashion industry and I can guess which girl goes each and every week.
i say nicole just simply because i didnt see that “x” factor in her. she reminded me of the basic girl next door. naima, jazlene, danielle, and yoanna just had something about them that was just RIGHT. and of course, adrienne remains the best ever! thats my bitch.
well, being a thick girl myself I think Whitney was the worst…you’ll never see her seriously modeling pucci, or gucci, or betsey johnson. She’s giving false hope….it’s sad that they picked the winner for ratings not for talent. Is Tyra trying to tell girls it’s ok to be overweight and unhealthy?? Whitey’s a size 14, isnt that like average now??? Next thing you know, people are going to tell size 22 women its ok to be that big, and it’s healthy and they too can be models….
Whitney was the worst because she didnt deserve it or earn it at all.
The competition was completely rigged for her, just so tyra could ‘try’ to prove that fat is beautiful.

I think the reason that they don’t have more pictures of Adrienne is that she has been openly criticizing the show and Tyra! I have read that she has made comments to the effect that her Revlon contract never came through and she has yet to be paid from them…that they were living in cramped quarters and went long hours without eating…and she felt that it was done to promote conflict.
Not sure about the truth or not – my guess would be that they didn’t have the budget that they have now (for the larger pads)…Nor the sponsorship that they do now…
My favorite is Caridee. She’s beautiful and has a great personality. Gotta love Adrienne as well. My least favorite is probably Nicole. I thought she was kind of dull and, I really liked Kyle. So, I guess the winner of that season would have turned me off no matter what.
It’s funny Adrianne’s myspace fans do what she wants then to do and they have no voice of their own. She was the favorite now she is almost the least favorite- hmmm wonder why??? Maybe because she told them to vote her that way.
you people are idiots. it is obvious when you know the post antm successes. get your facts and the designers angle and you’ll see that the order is dani, jaslene, caridee, and roughly eva, adrienne, andnicole. get your fashion week news kids because that is where it’s at!

In cycle 5, I didn’t really connect with any of the girls and thought their personalities, especially compared to cycle 2, were boring. Nicole was whiny and disrespectful; Nik at least was a nice person and had a unique look.
I agree about Saliesha. I don’t understand why she won. Her personality fell flat, she didn’t take the best pictures, and her makeover was probably a “make under.” That haircut really sucked.
Yoanna was probably my favorite winner for her personality and amazing pictures. Mercedes was also amazing, and I think I would have been happy with either of them winning.
And last cycle: McKey? Really? Boxing poses? She took strong pictures towards the end, but she had no sparkle to her personality. All we saw was the athlete. Annaleigh was beautiful and a gracious person. Though she also was an athlete (ice skater), she used that to her advantage and spent her free time being a human being instead of working out like a mad person.

1-Nicole, the only girl with the model thing in her, and took greatest pics just that tyra underrated her.

I think the worst ANTM winner is NICOLE LINKLETTER. I don’t understand why NIC PACE didn’t won. She was BETTER!!! than Nicole. Nicole’s walk & pictures were soo ordinary. I this that she was Twiggy’s favorite model in the competition *& I don’t understand why but..* and that’s why she won.
My favorite in cycle 5 were defenitly KYLE & NIK the were so talented and it’s sad that on of the 2 didn’t win!!!!!
& I love Kahlen *cycle 4
WHITNEY!!!! She was in the bottom 5…yes 5 times!!!! Are you kidding me, Anya had never been in the bottom and came in second overall…they only chose Whitney to get people off their back.
Also, McKey….ugh. What a terrible season, I dont even remember anyone in that one. Booooring! Last season too….I mean Teyona…really?
My favorite is Yoanna and Danielle. I think Danielle was flawless and Yoanna adorable!
Runners up….Favorite was definitely Anya, followed by Joanie! That was a rough season as both were amazing!
My favorites were definitely CariDee and Jaslene. Least favorite would absolutely be McKey – zero personality and she doesn’t have that “it” factor that makes you remember her. I looooved Analeigh and wanted her to win that season.
But what I’ve noticed about ANTM winners is that seasons 3,6,9, and 12 have all had a black girl to win. Coincidence?

cycle 9 – heather, jenah & CHANTAL should have won!
cycle 10 – anya ( whitney was just ok, not really that good)
cycle 11 – i also loved samantha and analeigh, good they were on top3
