Poll: Which ANTM Season Did You Hate?

I find that the seasons of America’s Next Top Model can vary. It really depends on the types of girls they choose, the photo shoots and challenges they have and more. Surely one season stands out at the worst one in your mind!
The season I liked the least was Cycle 8. As hilarious as Natasha was (she saved the season for me), she wasn’t top model material. And the very fact Jaslene Gonzalez was cut the previous cycle, only to come back and win really demonstrated the lack of talent and potential in the Cycle 8 girls. I think the top three was the weakest top three of any cycle.
I like Jaslene, but I think she epitomized the shift away from any “high fashion” focus ANTM pretended to have. It became a show where the winners were role models with messages to spread. This is not a bad thing, but I just wish it’s something Tyra and co. would admit.
But that’s just my opinion. What season was the worst to you? And why?
Cycle 9. It was rigged, contestants (Kimberly, Saleisha, Bianca) made fun of someone with a disability, Tyra bullied one girl after the other (Ebony, Jenah…), eliminated girls with dubious reasons (Victoria, Sarah, Jenah…). To me it was the epitomy of Tyra trying to make a girl into a model but failing miserably *cough*Saleisha*cough*
actually i don’t like the last two cycles. i think the chose the wrong winners, and the girls with real potential and high fashion look were eliminated jenah in cycle 9, and anya and fatima cycle10.
( i’m wondering what is jenah doing now- i hope something with modeling, because her pictures were so good)
I didn’t like cycle 9 much but I’ll watch it if it comes on. I didn’t like cycle 3 at all though. I thought Ann was beautiful but she didn’t model well on the show. Other than Tocorra, Ann, Eva, Yaya, and Norelle I can’t remember the others. I really didn’t like cycle 1 either though. Robin drove me nuts and it all seemed really low budget.
I dint like seasns 09 cuz Saliehsa wons. She sholdnt of not wons.
I hated 3 different cycles for different reasons. I hated Cycle 8 because the contenders weren’t very strong at all. I think Samantha should have gone waaaay farther. The top 3 were bad! I hated Cycle 9 plain and simply because Saleisha won. The cycle was good but I hated Saleisha, it should have been Jenah or Chantal. And I didn’t like Cycle 10 because the photoshoots were really boring and Dominique took up most of the show time. It’s kind of hard to say I hated these things because I love the show!

cycle 9 was the worst…and ironically i think that cycle 9 had GREAT potential to be the best cycle. Tyra had so many girls that could be great models and she just kicked them all to the curb…(ex. Kimberly, Victoria, Janet, Sarah, Lisa, Heather, and Jenah)

I would have to say my least favourite season was the 1st one. They didn’t put any money into it, and the photoshoots were much unthemed. The final 3 did a speech for God Damns Sake, and the final runway was for Kimora Lee Simons of Baby Phat. I mean, come on! How pathetic can you get?!
Dear Erin, I agree with your opinion. The show is clearly an extention of Tyra Banks Show and chooses the winners with messages to spread to the world. Cycle 10 was clearly for that reason. My least favorite was Cycle 8 & 9. On Cycle 8, besides Jaslene & Natasha, rest of the contestants were veryvery weak and I hated Renee the bitch. She was too scary mean and it wasn’t even funny. On Cycle 9, I was in a big shock when they cut Lisa out. I thought Lisa had “Something extra special” like in Naima and a true beauty like Nik. Also Heather should’ve gone further. I am still mad at the season final decision. Saleisha is not a model at all. I loved Cycle 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10.
cycle 9 is the worst for me since I really hated how the judges focused on personality and not the actual model potential… DORA THE EXPLORER won, who would’ve guess? Vamonos, vamonos, vomonos!!!! I think Jenah had the most potential to be a top model…
