Paulina Porizkova is “Not a Hypocrite”
Paulina Porizkova, the newest judge on America’s Next Top Model, used to be known as the model who hated modeling. This why some people are calling her a hypocrite for accepting a position as judge on ANTM.
“For somebody who’s been as dismissive of modeling as I have been, it is complete insanity. Talk about contradicting myself. I’m perfectly aware of it,” she said to the Nartional Ledger.
Paulina says Tyra Banks asked her to come on the show for that very reason.
“They called me before to do it, but they were shooting in L.A. so it was not an option because I would not leave New York. Tyra called again and said, ‘We’re moving the show to New York. Would you be interested now?’ I said, ‘Tyra, you do know who you’re talking to? You remember that I’m the girl who officially hates modeling?’ She was laughing and said, ‘Yes, I know exactly who I’m calling. That’s why I want you — because you bring something different.’”
Paulina says she’s still the same and that her perception of the industry hasn’t changed. But it’s this attitude and experience she feels that will help the girls competing on the show.

Just because your not crazy about your job doesn’t mean your not qualified to judge people in that field. Twiggy is outdated and most people even though they know of her they couldn’t tell you who she is they saw her walking down street. Paulina has much more recent experience as a model from the 80’s and 90’s and she still looks like a super model in everyway. I don’t think she is a hypocrite at all.

During the 80’s and 90’s Paulina Porizkova is a SUPERSTAR… This is the first time i am watching ANTM because i love looking and watching Paulina, i mean i never tire looking at her. Thank you Tyra for adding Paulina because she adds class, glamour and credibility in your show…
