Nikki Blonsky’s Dad Finally Released

A few days ago, Nikki Blonsky’s father was denied bail. He was being held for causing grievous bodily harm to Bianca Golden’s mom during their families’ brawl in a Turks & Caicos airport a couple of weeks ago.

Both Nikki and Bianca were arrested as well, but were quickly released on $6,000 bail. Because Bianca’s mom had to stay in the hospital, Nikki’s dad’s charges were far greater, and he remained incarcerated longer.

However, People is reporting that Carl Blonksy was recently released from jail, on $3,000 bail, due to health claims.

“We appealed on the grounds that Mr. Blonsky has some health problems. The appeal was successful [and] last night the court released him,” his attorney Oliver Smith told the magazine.

Carl’s court date has yet to be scheduled. Bianca’s is for September 17, and Nikki’s is expected to be held in early December. It really feels like these “health issues” are excuses. But I guess you need to work the legal system any way you can. I doubt Nikki’s dad will be causing any more trouble. He probably just wants to get back home and wait this fiasco out with his family. I wonder what kind of sentence he, Nikki and Bianca will all receive.
