  9. Amber says:

Isnt nigeria too poor of a country to be doing something this big?

  10. bisola says:

wat is wrong with some people…why do you discriminate and what do you mean by nigeria is too poor of a country to do this? how dare u? Nigeria is actually quite rich only if we maintain our ideas and resources…and what do you mean saying the girls are ugly?have you looked at urself lately?

  11. Amber, you obviously don’t know much about Nigeria. Nigeria and Brazil are the two countries with the biggest wealth gaps between the rich and poor. Fortunately for the government, a great deal comes from oil wealth and like pretty much every other oil rich country, the government (in the past particularly) screwed the people because there is little incentive to help them. Same with Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, etc. Money comes from oil wealth. There’s far less reliance on taxes. The government has the military and police. Natural resource wealth frequently comes with a whole lot of corruption. It’s the case with diamonds, gold, etc.

Unfufu, about 35 other countries have Top Model. This is one of the few reality shows of the last decade that the US came up with. Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, Weakest Link, What Not to Wear and loads of other shows were copied from others. If it ain’t broke, why fix it?

Nigeria is also the most populous country in Africa I believe.

Apparently Nigeria get to one of the Rich country amongs African. However if Nigeria development is going start from Entertaining people, i don’t see any problem with that, they should go for it. Neither by copying others country ideas IT DOESN’T MATTER.
