  No one desirves to feel like a woman again more than me. I just turned 27 on Sept 7th and it was a rotten b-day it always is. But… As young as i am i feel so old. I have so many Health isues and lived my life in pain and internaly sick I have been through almost everything. I still love life as hard as it has been for me. But im ready to get my life on track and make ends meet for my 3 year old daughter. I want to be beautiful and succesfull. I cant remember what it is like to buy or have anything nice for myself. I have recoverd from 2 nearly fatel accidents and deep inside i feel more beautiful than i did when i was younger I felt so ugly. But i have been verbily and mentaly abused to ware my confidence is worn in a very small spot in my heart it’s there it just gets shut off. I know i have what it takes to make it out there. I just cant get there. I can tell you all about myself if you want but everything i have been through wont fit on this e-mail. Thank you. Julie.

  My daughter is a 35 year old housewife and mother of two. Her style is peddle pushers and faded tee shirts, her hair straight frumpy brown with hints of highlights from years past. Her (5) five year old daughter has asked me to write and ask “Is there something Jay could do to help my mom look pretty”. This is sad when it comes from a five year old, but this five year old is extremely fashion savy and always watches what and how women are dressed, she knows her fashion and is always on the mark. My daughter “Amie” spends every moment involved making her children and husbands dreams come true and feels if they are happy then her life is complete! Please Jay consider fulfilling a five year old’s dream and help her Mommy be pretty. Amie’s potential is without boundries, she has such potential to be a beautiful wife and mother.

  Love the show but in desperate need of Style I am a widow 36 years old and I have three children. And we have had a lot of losses 9 family members have passed in the last four years so we have had it a little rough. I never have time for me nor much less have a clue what is in Style anymore. I pay more for my kids to be in style while I wear rags! But now I feel it’s time to look hopefully look for a new man. Can you PLEASE help me look like a new hot sexy woman again? I used to be a model but that was back my younger days I would love to try to find her again!

  I love fashion so much. My dream is to be a model but my dream is kinda put on old. I am a full time mother and wife and I am a nursing student. So I really do not have much of life. I d not get to dress up that much because all I do is take care of my family, go to school, and study. I would love to be on the show so I can get back in touch with the other side of me that I love.   I am a 37 year old woman. I am approaching an age where I am wondering if I should just grow out my hair color and give up. I lost my leg a few months ago and as a result I have lost confidence in my looks. I can still turn a head once in a while if my leg is covered up and my face is pretty. My favorite celebrities are Drew Barrymore and Meg Ryan. Please help me get back

  Hi Jay

  Sorry to leave two comments but I felt that I left out some information. I always get stopped by people and they tell me that I remind them of the of the old movie stars back in the old days. That I have face that is a blast from the past. Example Rita Hayworth, Jacqueline Bisset,Lauren Bacall,Hedy Lamarr,Gene Tiernay Not that I look exactly like any of them because of the melting pot that we have become. But little piece of this and that of all of them and have my own unique look. And I hear it over and over from just random people off the streets I look like I belong in that era not this one. So just to give you my stat’s I am
  5′8 and wear a size 5 and I am including my space link on the website box so you can review my pictures (cringe) which I know are NOT all that! Compared to what you are used to seeing professionally. I feel I am alot more comfortable in my skin now and can and will indeed perform behind the camera. Even if it is my 2 seconds of fame after everything I have been through it’s good enough for me. I will even include a poem I recieved the other day suggesting this very topic. Which I thought was sweet and it inspired me to iclude it in as well as my space website so you can look at my pictures which are alot more ethnic since back in those days. People still until this day still say the same thing. And like I mentioned earlier I recieved this peom which I thought reflected on this idea as well:

  There was a time that beauty like yours was only in love stories
  I miss those kinds of stories that being by strangers meeting on a train and a kiss
  But seeing your face will always remind me that I can travel anywhere in time with just by
  gazing at your picture - such beauty — so kind.

  I am not bragging on myself by any strecth of the imagination but I would really love a chance to be on your show. I feel like I need some type of happiness after so much turmoil and trauma. All I am suggesting if you looked and felt the same and felt this would make for a good show…maybe something like a blast from the past. Although I don’t have such a picture I know you have the eye to see what can be done with some one with any type of photo.Thanks Jay and sorry to “Bug” again but I felt like I wanted to express this and now let’s wait and see what you decide. Thank You SO MUCH! And I will continue watching the show!!!! And hope you will consider me for your show. Just as I suggested in my first email it does not change the fact that I have NO style what so ever! I am ready to find someone new to share my life with but that is not going to happen in these ol’ rags!! I have no clue where to begin it is very intimidating!

  Hello Jay!

  I just got married may 20th 2006 and I’m 22 year old and I am having a problem changing my look from single young, to married class. My husband is a teacher and a coach, and I would like my look to look different them his students. I live in a small town in west tenneessee so the shoping is simply not there, we dont even have a mall!!

I have worn braids snce I was 13 years old and I am looking for a more grow up look I love brite colors. My fashion mentor is Kimora Lee Simmons I love her asian-urban style and I would like to encorporate her lovely locks into my fashion style. I love high lights especially blond.   Hello Jay,
  I am a 22 years old I have been married for two and a half years. My husband and I have been trying to have children for a year and a half. I took a lot of fertility pills that took a toll on my complexion and on my self esteem. We recently stopped going to the Dr. because the pills impacted me in such a negative way. We met on the first day of hight school back in 1999 and I want to feel as cute as I did in high school. I feel like when people see me now they think, “What happened to her.” I know my husband loves me and thinks that I am beautiful, but I do not always feel that way.   I am a 53 year old grandmother. Like many women my age I don’t know how to dress not only for my age but this new body that crep up on me. Right up till my late fourties I was slinder and didn’t look my age. Now all of a sudden I find myself growing in areas I never had a problem with before. I would love it if you could show me how to make the best of what I have left. I know there are a lot of women out there just like me. We don’t want to “let our selves go ” but what we have always done just won’t work. I like the way Venessa Williams dresses. I know she has a great body but maybe her classic look could be ajusted to a more mature look. I know this is probably diffrent from most of the request you get but that is what keeps the show interesting.

  First LOVE the show, and you are GREAT, but I really need some help, im 20 yr old and my daughter is coming up a year. I spend all my time with my daughter, and if i ever get a night where my parents have her my friends ask me out. I never go out because I never have anything to wear, all my friends have a nice figure and the time and money to spend on themselves. Ive been with my partner for 3years, but we were friends before that and I would love to think he would pop the question one day, but he even tells me I need a new style, that I dress boring. He never seems to want to take me out as much as he used to, and I feel if I had a new look, he would want to take me out and feel he wants to spend the rest of his life with me.   and have a problem .. i dont really no what direction to take with my style or how to go about it ..im soo tired of the same old style …jeans never fitting …ect ..i would love to look different from the other thousands of girls with the new look top and the select throussers tht i always have to gt vtaken up ..i look in the mirror and feel sad because most of my firneds are a uk size 6-8 and im a size 10-12 which i cant not help i eat healthy aand workout regularly but i always look ..ok ..i want to wow people with my style i fed up with dull boring …styles my inspiration and idol is cameron diaz soo glamerous but also natural i used to be natural ut ive lost my ways at a young age with make up and hair and do not know what to do …you see soo many teenage girls go off the rails slutty..tarty…boring…dulll..gothic….skater …i dont want to be any of the want to be classy but edgey and maybe a little sexy at times since i tend to get invited to alot of family and firnds partys i have noticed ive totally lost my confidence.. i need some direction …please jay manuel make my dreams come true because it would really change my life

  Hi there and HELP.

  Cant believe im asking for help, but i do.
  Im 21 years old, turn 22 in Oct., and i feel so bad. I had many bad experiences in my short life, had because of them depressions, eating dissorder, was cutting myself and went from one extreme to another. Im gonna tell u one bad thing so u know what im talking about.

  I lost many friends in the past from eating dissorders, sickness, suicide, accident etc. and never felt to sad, i was swallowing it down, cause i had to.
  My parents divorced each other when i was 18, i couldnt handle it, i know that was the best, and i tried to bring my mom to this thought to. Cause my “dad” was just home on the weekends, but still not available for us, my 3 years younger brother and i was sitting sometimes in front of the tv, and my dad was watching teen porn or stuff like that,always blond girls,the same age like i was, in the same room and didnt cared at all. I felt uncomfortable and didnt want to go swimming and stuff with my “dad”, i just couldnt anymore. And when my dad left i start working in a pub right across the street.
  I felt so good to be away, i was working from 5 o clock in the evenings to 5 o clock in the mornings and was drunk, so i didnt went to school. I didnt thought of problems and didnt worried, i thought it was so good. But i got into trouble with my mom, and didnt understood why. Then i met a nice italian guy there, well, i thought, and we talked, he saved me once from my boss, who tried to rape me. so i was thankful, and we met at his place a couple of times.
  I could talk about my problems and everything, and he just listen, without wanting anything. He was almost as old as my “dad”, maybe i was searching for a “father-figure” or something i dont know. But it turned as bad as it could have. I dont want to say to much now, but it ended with many rapes, i was scared to go out, he was threathening that something bad would happen to my family if i told someone. I went to the police, but they didnt helped either. They said to me, they could help after they talked to him, but i didnt want to, cause i was so scared back then.
  I tried to end it, said bad things about me, so maybe he would look for another girl, i was walking around in old clothes, so maybe he wouldnt be interested anymore. But still. So, i lost completely over me, i was deep in my eatingdisorder, i had depressions , fights with family and friends, felt fat,ugly and thirty, and i still couldnt let go the dream of an father who cared for me, i just couldnt. So with 19, after one year of beeing scared and after the death of my grandpa,i decided to go in a clinic, and it felt like vacation the first days, cause i was away from home. That older guy lives 2 streets from my house, i always feel sick in that city, in that house, just driving trough is really bad. After beeing in a clinic i was 3 months at home, but i couldnt handle it. I act like everything was ok, cause i didnt want to worry my family. And i just wanted to run away, i thought maybe then i can leave everything behind, but i was wrong. Now im a Aupair in Ireland, Dublin, im living actually in Frankfurt Germany.

  I never felt like a nice looking Girl, and now, i dont feel like a Woman, cause i still look like a Girl. I have to show my passport everywhere i go, everybody thinks im 16.
  I never went to a disco or big party, because i thought, i didnt deserved it, the way i looked, and every time i told myself, when i look fine, when i this when i that, so all my life, i didnt allowed myself fun and stuff, other Girls did in my age, because of those stupid things.
  I was in a clinic, because i couldnt handle myself anymore, then i run away from everything, thought then i felt better, when im away from family, friends, my city.

  I just want to make a whole new start, and a different styling would really help a lot. Cause maybe then i like my looks, i like me more and have more motivation and strength to make that new start.

  I dont know, if anyone is reading this, but i dont know how to contact anyone.

  I really want to do this and i need your help, please, help my to start my new life, please.

  Hi Jay, I am a big fan of Style her famous and have been amazed by what you have done. One of my favourites is the one with the female fire fighter as like me she too has red hair and freckles but by time you transformed her into Jessica Simpson she looked amazing. I wish you would make a series in England and if ever you do could you send me details as to how I could apply.

  How do I get onto your show Style Her Famous? I am in the military and feel that after having to wear a uniform everyday and my hair pulled back I have lost any style the I use to have before joining. I need to feel like a women again in this prodominate male career. Any info would be great

  Hiya! I have just watched your show for the first time, Style her Famous, i really enjoyed it and its such a good idea. I live in the UK, im 27 years old and married with a 2 year old. All my life ive never really been able to find my own style. All of my female friends have theirs and i think they all look glam, so i have tried copying from them and sometimes it works but its still not my own! Im not a fashion buff but i do, like most girls, like looking at the magazines and watching the shows, but i just cant seem to see what my body type is and how to dress it so that it flatters it and so i feel girly. I know it may have something to do with my body shape as i may not be totaly happy with it and its up to me to do something about that, which i am (slowly), but its not all about being mega thin, but more with how u present yourself, well thats what impression ive got from watching some tv shows, but that is my biggest downfall as to not knowing how! I know your mega busy but i just thought i’d try sending an email and see what happens because you never know!!

  Im Katy Ellis from Cambridge, im 20 Years old and really depressed about my look. People make fun of me because i am only 4ft 11in and i look like a fifteen year old and its sending me mad i cant get a good job because they think im not mature enough for the work even though i went to college or two years and studied Business and Administration ive ended up working in my local corner shop also i find it so hard to get out there and enjoy myself like my friends do its just so embarresing i lost my self esteem the day i found out my mother was sick and wouldn get better due to enthesimia and lungs problems ive cared for her for about 5 years now but have only just been able to get a full time career in to help i love your show i watch it all the time the make up, hair and clothes its just amazing what you do to those women to help thier self esteem i really would love it if there was any way you could help me.

  I am a older women married to a younger man. I desperatley need a make over and I love Anglena Joleen and so does my husband! Anglena and I have alot in common. We are both tomboys. I love adventure! I ride a motorcycle and I box to keep in shape. I have long hair and cat like eyes. I love the style she wears.
