  no!!! Different backgrounds, as a fellow latin I feel we should stick to our own. I refuse to go outside of my race. If we do, it ruins the genepool! We have five MISS UNIVERSE winners, I don’t know of any miss Isreals that have won.

  jeff - just think about what you said . . . latin people have only been around for few hundred years (at least no earlier than Colombus) and are made up of black, white, spanish, portugese, (and if you break down the spanish race, it includes people from the middle east). So your comment about people from israel ruining the ‘gene pool’ is pretty misguided and basically rascist.

  Shahista, I am presuming your email wasn’t directed at my comment. To clarify, I am all for Jaslene and Jeremy falling in love (if they are), just didn’t like jeff’s comments. (and I meant south american indians - sorry I should check my typing!)

  Hello, I was browsing the internet, and saw this page, I was very surprice that Jasleen won the ANTM cycle 8. Now I will like to make some comments abouth people that have writen some stuff abouth Jaslen. As a hispanic male I was more than please to see that this program(ANTM) that have chosen one of my poeple , this program have overcome the color factor,the background issue, and the race situation of all the participants. I dont care is the model that have won the competitions is white, asian,afroamerican or hispanic, the only thing that I care is thath all the girls since cycle one to cycle ten have full fill theirs dreams,(winners or not winners) just lets wish all of them very good luck and lots of succes in both life and carrers.
  For some people that have wrote here that jaslen look like a man or that jaslene is to thin, let me tell you something, in the ANTM cycle 8 they pick 2 full size women, few afroamerican girls to so that mean that no all the nice figure, nice skin or the one that have nice curve or just only one color of skin or race can be a winner. I know that the factor that she is latina bother some people here, if that is the case some of us as american have fail. We all live in a free country were white, afroamerican, asian, and latinos live as one big community. Hope this can make some sence here.

  For the member “jeff” the mix of races have made this country, the way it is, white mix whit afroamerican, afroamerian whit white, asian whit white, afroamerican whit asian asian and hispanics and the list goes on, we (puertoricans) came from the fussion of the spaniards, (spaniard are mix whit middel east) blacks and the Tainos(indians that live in Puerto Rico for more than 1000.00 years befor Colombus Arrive in the New World, in my island you can find white blond people whit blue or green eyes, also black people whit green or blue eyes, and also poeple that are the fusion of the spaniards and the Tainos. The same thing happen here in the USA, there is not a single american that can be 100 percent shure that is pure (just one rece). And for some history information the hispanics have been here in the new world more than 500 years just for you information.

  No bob, it was directed at jeff, since he said something that isnt agreed by many, anyway i am a 19 yr old pakistani girl n god knows how many guys from different races have liked me n i’ve liked them back regardless of colour or religion, if you like someone, nothing else should matter, its just insane if people start saying stick to ur own race, its just immature and the lowest cheap class thinking i’ve ever come across!!

  learn to accept other people, other people exist in this world too, wether u like it or not, never mind countries, you all share the same world!!

  the biggest relation to another person is of all of us being human beings more important that colour n race, that all comes later n the people who have created these differences are the people who still are old school, no one cares anymore apart colour n race, apart from some crazy lunatic!!
