Eva Pigford Fires Tyra Banks?

Interesting news from TVland. Eva Pigford has now changed her name to Eva Marcille (her middle name), and has fired her managers, Benny Medina and Tyra Banks.
Her reasons? She wants a “fresh start.”
Well, this is probably a very smart move by Eva. And the name ‘Eva Marcille’ is definitely an improvement.
So…. congratulations?

Well, we didn’t really hear or seen her around so I’m curious to see if this will be an improvement.
As for Pigford, it was about time to change that god awful name!!
I am in uk watching Monique on ATM & have come to the conclusions that this girl need psychiatric input.
How did naima win top model? Where was the sense in it? She has the personality of a fryin pan! Top model is gettin more boring as it goes on, stupid photo shoot’s, tyra’s gettin gobbier and not sure she know’s a good model when she see’s one. Jade should have won cycle 6. Eva, your decision to detach yourself from Tyra Banks and Benny Medina was a “rignt on” move … I always felt that ANTM had their “fingers in the pie” of the winners. It seems all the winners not only get the contract, but are bound by ANTM. My daugher who was killed last year by a drunk driver while crossing the street, loved your look and attitude … she thought you were beautiful, you are.
Just watched you on ‘Smallville’ and you can act … loved the name change. I believe your acting ability will “sky rocket” you into movies. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!

I love Eva. She can make a name like Pigford look FABULOS. Wish that she had stayed with Tyra. Tyra is one smart cookie. Wish her well just the same and will always love her.
Right now, I need to see more Bianca from Cycle 9. She is fab and should have won. I guess she did not play up to Nigle enough like the winner did. Bianca got played out with that outfit at the great wall. Just like Ya Ya did in that white dress and jacked hair in her finale. By the way, why has Ya Ya never been invited to any of Tyra’s shows…. does she have too much education, or have I missed her?
I think that giving Tyra the axe was a great idea. I mean, don’t get me wrong, Tyra wants the winners to succeedto get the money…who wouldn’t. But the truth is Tyra comes off as she was, is and always will be the best and no one can surpass her skills. Just listen to her self absorbed “critiques” sometimes. I’m sure she means well but it comes off a little too harsh at times. And another reason I agree is because Tyra has a lot going on herself face it her runway days are done she needs to maintain the cash flow and stay busy. she spent her early adult life working all the time, as soon as began putting on weight things began to slowdown and I haven’t seen her in any of the recent victoria’s secret ads… So good for Eva!

my girl eva is right! for getting rid of tyra think about where are they now( the winners) like the first girl who won she on reailty show just to make ends met face it tyra’s getting back at all the girls who took her jobs when she started getting older …and fatter by keep the really good model under her thump! ya ya is to full of herself i never liked her glad she not no the show looking down on poeple bcuz she has done so well in school good for her everybody not stupid just cuz they didn’t go to school poeple like her make me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ican’t really conclude that firing Tyra was a good idea or not but i just hope that won’t stop eva seeking advice from her when needed cos Tyra made eva whatever ahe is toady. at the same time she[eva] can’t stay with Tyra for life. anyway, i love you eva.
Im so disapointd at eva. Tyra helped her 2 b where she is ryt now. But she aint getting enough exposure frm AMNT.

I was so glad when Eva won the ANTM title. She exudes grace, beauty and talent. Her brief cameo on the canceled Kevin Hill showed that she has acting ability. Now, she’s on Y&R, my favorite soap. So happy to see someone from ANTM continuing their career. Where are the previous winners? Well, with not much to go on other than their looks, I guess they’re back to being what they started out as…unknowns. Maybe Top Model should incorporate talent shows into the comp. That way, if they don’t make it as a model, they still have a chance at something else.
Thats exactly what Adrian Curry did. She is doing great without Tyra. She said that once she won, she had to do only the things that Tyra dn Bennie agreed to. She couldnt go out and get jobs on her own. Also…whoever made the comment that “Jade should have won her cycle” must have been posted by JADE herself. Cause….eveyone else knows that Jade was washed up when she walked on the stage. She was boastful of how “beautiful” she was, that “everywhere she goes, heads are turning” Yep, youre right JADE they were turning away and laughing….she is NUTS.
Eva will do fine away from Tyra. Bennie just seems to feed off anyone who has success…what has HE done other than latch onto Tyra and live off her career?
