Dose Talks to CNTM Cycle 2 Winner Rebecca Hardy
November 4, 2009 by Erin Balser
Rebecca Hardy, the leggy brunette who won the second cycle of Canada’s Next Top Model, has been a busy girl since taking the crown two years ago. She spared a minute during Toronto Fashion week to talk to Dose.ca.

Rebecca talks about how much her life has changed since the big win, how she feels about Meaghan Waller, the winner of Cycle 3,and what surprises her most about the fashion world. While Rebecca was repeatedly told about the long hours she’d have to put in as a working model, it didn’t hit home until she was traveling all over the world:
I would have to go back to the long hours, especially when travelling. People don’t understand that you’re on a plane to Milan, you get off your plane and you’re given a map and you have to go to 12 castings and figure it out. People don’t understand how difficult that can be, especially when there’s language barriers. It’s very difficult and that’s one of the things I found extremely, extremely hard. But diet and exercise really help with that.
I really liked Rebecca and am glad to see she’s having a busy and successful career. You can read the entire interview at Dose.ca!

“Rebecca Hardy, the leggy brunette who won the second cycle of America’s Next Top Model…” i think you mean Canada’s Next Top Model.
I do!! Thanks for catching that! I write out “America’s Next Top Model” so often I do it automatically!!
I really like Rebecca’s hair now that it is brunette. The fire engine red did nothing for me. I wish they would have brought her back more during cycle 3 like they do with the winners of ANTM. I found her cycle to be very weak and not interesting at all, but I am so glad she won and is finding lots of work.
