Demelza Reveley’s Day at Work

Australia's Next Top Model - Grand Final

Last week Demelza Reveley shot her Vogue spread that came as part of her prize pack for winning Australia’s Next Top Model.

The concept for the shoot was cocktail dresses and they did the shoot in an abandoned Point Piper house, according to the Illawarra Mercury.

“It was a little bit different to anything I’ve done before,” Demelza told the paper. “It was all really elegant cocktail dresses and very stylised, but then they’ve changed it all with cowboy hats and feathers – an American Indian feel.”

Vogue has a video from behind-the-scenes at the shoot, which you can watch here.

Despite criticism from Vogue’s editor Kirstie Clements about Demelza’s potential as a model, she feels confident about her shoot and about her career.

“My agency told me that they were very happy and I got lots of good feedback so I think I did a good job,” she said. “No, I know I did a good job.”

I’m excited to see the spread and to see how she did! Do you think she has what it takes to make a good model?

demelza’s no alice. in my opinion, she didn’t deserve to win. it should have been alex or sam or caris. she’s a bully and i hope she gets nowhere in life

What a let-down after such a great winner from previous AusNTM- Alice Burdeau. She is a bully, not that good on the runway, pictures are not great, and her face just screams Lindsay Lohan. Ugh, just ugh. Caris should’ve win. Or at least Samantha, Sam can be a great Victoria’s Secret model. She is truly not on Alice Burdeau level.

Because of this, I think Vogue AU may not want to still be in contract for the next AusNTM. If that happens, it’ll be such a loss for AusNTM. Vogue AU gives the show such credibility in the fashion industry. I hope they don’t lose Vogue AU so they don’t have to resort to Seventeen like ANTM.

Give the girl a break. She was 16 when she won. Most girls at 16 are the biggest bitches you will meet. But we all have done that. She learnt by her mistake she aplogised and acted mature about it. So what she was a bitch on the show. They dont show you everything. I say congradulation demelza. I think you will go far..
people are going to hate and say nasty things about people and the things they have done. Buh if you look bak and remmeber what you were lyk wen u were 16 then youll probley realise you were same as her. So give the girl a break. If she wasnt ment to win then Australia wouldnt of voted for her. Buh apprently australia liked her. Its not her fault she won. All she did was work her ass off to try and win and she walked away a champ. SO ya no what sorry to the girls who didnt win buh Australia obviousely didnt think you were good enough.

Demelza is not of a TOP model material. She’s just a next door bully girl and her personality really suck. Alex should have been the winner.

  5. Jeanne says:

Yeah Laylahh you’re right, most girls at 16 are the biggest bitches you will meet… And Demelza proved that she’s one of those LOSER BITCHES!Alex or Sam should have won. They’re a LOT BETTER than her. Yeah Australia have voted for her but that doesn’t mean that she’s that professional. Of all the winners of Australia’s Next Top Model, she the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT!

I absolutley love Demelza’s look and I think she will go far in the modelling industry, however what she did on the show to Allamela was extremely immature, but she apologised and really, what more can she do? I feel so sorry for her because of some of the things that others have said about her and anyway she won by the public vote so obviously Australia must like her. Well done, Demelza. You deserve this :)
