I think the reason this cycle is fan favorite is because the order in which the models were “cast off” were in line with what we as the viewer deemed. All the editing and footage that we don’t see goes into consideration for the winner of ANTM, unfortunately we don’t see it. This season, in each episode we would SEE the breakdown of a competitor and we were able to formulate our own decisions based on what the panel of judges have used in the past. For example, the judges warned Erin about how she was starting to lose her edge above the competition…and that she might need to step up her game. We saw that she didn’t and the result was her leaving. Past episodes hardly made it easy for us to judge at home because the writers would lead us in one direction but then the cast off would be completely contradictory.
This cycle seemed more cohesive and viewer friendly. The editors did their work according to how panel judged and it worked.
Congrats, Nicole. This was hard. I could’ve seen either one of these ladies winning. But i will have to agree with the judges that Laura, behind the camera, just wasn’t up to par with Nicole. It seemed Nicole has model turned on 24/7. I really thought Laura produced some incredibly gorgeous photos…especially her Pele photo on the rocks in Hawaii…stunning.
As far as the photos above with Tyra…I dunno’…a big yawn-fest if you ask me. I don’t think the “fresh off the 4 seasons runway show” benefited Nicole at all.

I think they are not doing their research. There are some girls from earlier cycles who are getting steady work. Like Sara Racey Tabrizi (cycle 2) who has been modeling consistently since the show ended, modeling for L’Oreal, Escada, Lisa Perry, etc. Leslie Mancia (cycle 6) has also been working a lot lately most recently modeling for Neiman Marcus. Also why they have never done one on Cycle 2 winner Yoanna House? If anything she’s hosted not one, but two shows now!

yes i’m sorry i didnt think about how far along antm was and if i offended and tall girls i didnt mean too its just i’ve been dealing with being short and have always had to defend myself so i believe i choosed my words wrong in my last post. but you said that when you saw a short season of antm that you were disapointed but dont you think us short girls are always disapointed because theres a high limited, and seeing a season just for us short girls is like a dream come true, and not just another chance given to tall girls. why have a high limit why not just allow any hight try maybe instead of a tall or short season maybe it might be a idea to have all heights allowed to try out and not a tall vs short but just like any other season where everyone vs everyone. but again if i offended i am so sorry but again its how i felt my whole life. but every since antm started and well any modeling in general to me its like tall girls are better then short girls and well it makes me fell bad but in a way that like theres no way i’ll ever be good enought and like i know short girls do model but what about the run way?

I’m so happy for her she was my favorite girl throughout the whole competition. And in my opinion she is the most beautiful girl ever to win ANTM.
