Coming Up On: Canada’s Next Top Model

According to JAM! Television, CNTM is starting to heat up, and I’m sorry that I can’t catch this series on TV. Here’s a bit of what’s going on:
Not only are the girls’ claws starting to come out as the competition progresses, but they’re beginning to unhinge. And not always in a way that’s fun to watch.
Last week alone, Andrea cried because judge Stacey McKenzie told her she tends to interrupt, Brandi cried because she got into the hot tub with her iPod and wrecked it, and Ylenia cried because the judges made an offhand remark about her being slightly thick in the middle while praising her overall look.
Oddly enough, the only person not crying was Natalie, the statuesque 22-year-old from New Westminster, B.C., who was bounced from the contest. Poor Nat got cut when the judges decided she was too tall and too generous of rump to be a runway model. But then modelling has about as much in common with reality as, well, reality shows.
Tonight, the girls do a lingerie shoot and strike suggestive poses with a male model, something which causes Ylenia no small amount of concern. Hopefully morals don’t prove as taboo in modelling as nice curvy butts.

The picture you have on the right is not the official Canada’s Next Top Model website. You should take that down. It has nothing to do with the show. It’s an independant modeling competition that has been there before Canada’s Next Top Model. This is the official site:

Yes, the other commenter is right: That picture is from a totally different competition that was from a few years ago, that was not a part of the Next Top Model franchise.
this is Martina–the girl in this picture. I won the Canadas Top Model competition in 2005 and then Canadas Next Top Model came out…but yeah..wrong picture for the competition you’re talking about

Shes Canada’s Next Top Model in my eyes, somebody give this girl a contract!!
