China’s Next Top Model Set to Debut
Since it’s debut ten seasons ago, America’s Next Top Model has been a sensation that has spread around the world. It’s hard to go anywhere in the world without either running into ANTM reruns or locally produced versions like Canada’s Next Top Model, Australia’s Next Top Model, or Britain’s Next Top Model.
Other spinoffs have run in diverse countries including Nigeria and Israel. Now it’s China’s turn as the 14th global market to run such a spinoff. According to Xinhua, one of the official media outlets in the country, the new show will air on Sichuan Cable TV this Sunday. Like ANTM, the show will feature 10 models, hour long shows, and 10 weeks of competition to decide who will be China’s Next Top Model.
