The party was held at Owl’s Lab in New York City and attracted several stars. The line includes cheeky t-shirts that say things like “I Love Men” and “My Sex Tape Comes Out Next Week.” As far as a celebrity clothing line goes, it’s definitely cheeky, fun and doesn’t try to hard.

Jaslene wore a cropped corset and jeans. It’s an all right look. I’m not loving it or hating it.

Celia wore a gold-colored one-shoulder top and jeans. It’s a cute look. She’s growing her hair out from her Top Model cut. I like the length it is now, I wonder how long she’s going to go!

Even Mecia was surprised by her own victory.

“‘I was sure would Sophie get it. The ten seconds waiting for my picture to appear seemed like days,” she told the Daily Mail. “I was mortified that I had to stand there and lose in front of the friends and family who’d come to watch the final catwalk show.”

Mecia really stepped up her game in the last episode to drive the title home. I also think she has the whole package so many Top Models are looking for – she’s relatable, girls can look up to her and she’s versatile as a model.

I have no doubt Sophie and Jade will get work and have exciting careers. Congratulations to Mecia!

The girls read the letter from Viola and Sophie attempts to redeem herself by saying nice things about her. I’m not entirely buying it, but it’s probably only because I can’t stand Sophie. They get some LisaMail and it turns out they’re getting dance lessons! Hopefully Lisa is the teacher – you know she learned some slick moves on Strictly Come Dancing. Sadly, Lisa doesn’t show up but we do learn that the challenge is to dance in front of strangers!

After the dancing, Ashley goes spastic over the fact Mecia got a special video from her fiancee and she didn’t get anything from her kids. It was confusing and kinda weird.

The girls then head to Elite Model Management, where they are going to be evaluated as models. It’s somewhere between an interview and a go see. They also visit Benito Fernandez. Everyone loves Jade the most, it’s amazing how much of a front-runner she is. Sophie gets positive feedback as well, and I’m thinking they’re going to be the top two.

Since they’re at their international destination, it’s not really Top Model without hot boys and alcohol for one night! Their tour guide from their first day in Buenos Aires and his pal came over, and it’s not long before Ashley and the tour guide are sucking face in the pool. Sophie must have been jealous or something, because it was only a matter of seconds before she’s hooking up with tour guide’s friend!

The photo shoot was a tango themed shoot for Catalogue magazine. The best photo will actually appear in the magazine, which is pretty cool. Jade, as always, was brilliant, Sophie was good and Mecia and Ashley were awkward.

At panel, this is shown, as Jade and Sophie are called first and second and Ashley is sent home. Mecia barely scrapes through and I bet she’s going home next.

The final five are off to Buenos Aires. As soon as they get there, they get some LisaMail and a hot guy comes by to show them around. I wonder if they’re going to try to get the girls in trouble, as they so often do on the abroad trips on other Top Models. Aftet their tour, they head into their first challenge – modeling the latest in polo gear for Buenos Aires’ high society. I’ll admit, I’m glad that Sophie’s confidence got the best of her. She need to be knocked down a peg or two. It made me happy Jade did so well, I love her!

The next day, the girls got to audition for an Argentinean commercial. Viola and Mecia were terrible, Jade and Ashley were okay and Sophie was great.

It’s then photo shoot time and the photo shoot is for a skin care company and is taking place on the majestic salt lakes. It’s beautiful backdrop and I’m excited to see how the photos turn out. Everyone’s image is beautiful, but the judges give Viola a hard time for giving up and looking defeated. I hate how judges project things on contestants when they need a story. Sophie’s photo is so good she books the campaign and gets first call out. Viola’s “attitude” gets sent home over Ashley. I love Ashley, but a model she’s not. Another bull elimination.

The girls are immediately thrown into a photo shoot for Company magazine, the magazine that is going to put the winner on the cover. The twist is that the photo shoot is with the famous band the Script. This causes a few girls to get star struck and affects the photo. Sophie wins, even though I can’t stand her and send voodoo vibes her way all episode. She chooses Daisy to come with her adn they have an amazing time and eveyone is oh so jealous.

The second challenge of the week is a commercial for Special K. Lisa has done several commercials for the company and tells the girls now is the time to step up. She’s especially concerned about Viola and even gives her a special pep talk. Jade also gets a special pep talk because of her weight. Despite this extra attention, Sophie takes home the prize for the second time this episode. I need to start liking this girl – she’s probably going to win. The real winner this episode, though, is Mecia, who gets video-proposed to. It’s weird, but it makes her happy and that’s what matters.

The photo shoot is a recreation of the famous Kate Moss lace body suit beauty shot. Terry, who photographed the original, is not impressed with anyone, except Mecia, who he thinks is hot, and Jade, who has something special. He’s a pretty harsh critic, but I think I prefer that to those who praise everyone, like last week.

After the shoot, Lisa used this opportunity to show off her skills from Strictly Come Dancing. The dancing isn’t completely irrelevant, as Lisa uses it to reveal that the girls are headed to Buenos Aires! That’s exciting, but man, Lisa needs to take some “international destination reveals” lessons from Tyra Banks. I want costumes, pinwheels and kangaroos!

At panel, Terry clearly hates the entire process and everyone in the room except Jade. Her photo is stunning and it’s no surprise when she gets the first call-out. Louis and Lisa are more forgiving but even they can’t save Daisy and her wonky eye. Aww, poor Daisy. I liked her a lot.

Hayley left last week and that’s sad, but not as sad as the Immodium commercial they need to go for their go-sees! Seriously. The girls met with Models 1 and they sent them on a few mysterious castings – one being for the medicine and one for Pearl Lowe’s newest look book. I enjoyed the montage of the girls acting like they had stomach pain a bit too much. Annaliese wins Immodium’s heart but Mecia takes Pearl. While, yes, the Pearl Lowe campaign as far more desirable, Annaliese has it completely right – a job is still a job. And I bet Immodium pays more than Pearl Lowe does.

The second challenge of the week is a rice cake commercial that takes place in a wind tunnel. I don’t entirely get why they want the girls to say their lines inside the wind tunnel (as opposed to mouthing them and voicing in over), but I’m not the brand manager. Daisy takes this one home and her prize is an exclusive fashion party.

Calling it an exclusive fashion party is misleading, as the prize turns out to be dinner with a former BNTM contestant, Abby Clancy. Even Daisy and Sophie think it’s a bit of a bust so make up a lie about an imaginary couture designer. The lie works so well we get a priceless confessional from Jade about the guy.

The photo shoot is hot – literally. The girls are doing a spread for the line lipsy and they are standing next to a burning car. Didn’t they do this exact photo shoot in Cycle 9 of America’s Next Top Model. Oh well, BNTM isn’t one for original ideas – the underwater shoot last episode was taken from Cycle 2 of ANTM, which was stolen from elsewhere (despite what Tyra thinks!). The hot atmosphere heats up Jade, Sophie and Daisy but the rest of the girls are meh.

At panel, the judges are not impressed with practically everyone. Only Viola and Mecia get positive feedback and it’s still not all that great. Because Mecia sucked the least, she gets called first and because Annaliese sucked the most, she gets sent home.

For the most part, the girls don’t care Maddy is gone! On to this week’s lesson. The girls learn all about staging a fight and get to punch each other, pull each other’s hair and smash bottles on each other’s head. It’s really fun and you can certainly tell who doesn’t like who!

I cannot figure out why everyone hates Viola. It’s completely possible she’s super annoying, but the editors aren’t showing enough of Viola’s annoyingness to make the other girls’ comments believable. Instead, all we get is bitching, bitching and more bitching and I can’t help but wonder if Viola is simply misunderstood or if there is a language barrier there.

This week’s challenge is huge – shooting a campaign for Faith Shoes. The best two photos will be chosen for a national campaign! The Faith Shoes rep was really concerned about Jade’s weight, but disliked nearly everyone. Or so it seems. Ashley and Sophie are declared the winners. Great, now Sophie’s head is going to get even bigger.

The photo shoot is a beautiful underwater shot with Debbie Gething gowns and a hat by Louis. It’s really difficult and I don;t understand why their isn’t an assistant right there with scuba gear so the girls can grab some air that way. Going up and down and up and down wastes a lot of time. I’m excited to see the photos, only because if you remember the underwater shoot in Cycle 2 of ANTM, nearly every photo was awful. Has there really been that few underwater shoots in the history of NTMs?

There’s lots more drama surrounding Viola and it sounds a lot greater than it looks. Let’s move on to elimination, where Huggy’s comments are hilarious and most of the photos are bad. Underwater is so difficult, so when the judges love Viola and Jade it’s a nice surprise. Jade gets the first call out, solidifying her position as the front runner. Daisy and Helyer end up in the bottom two but Daisy’s strong performance last week saves her. Bye Hayley! I’ll miss you.

The girls get some icy mail from Lisa – literally! It’s a precursor to tons of screaming and a trip abroad to Iceland with Huggy. That’s really cool. What’s not cool is Ashley’s attitude at dinner. It’s not her not eating it that bothers me as much as the fact she whined and complained about it.

It gets better as the girls meet with a casting agent to learn they are going to audition for a Icelandic tourism commercial, which involved speaking Icelandic and eating a sheep’s head. The sheep’s head causes issues for egomaniac Annaliese, vegetarian Jade and Viola’s sensitive stomach.

I don’t really get Jade’s vegetarian issues. Why is she a vegetarian? Is it for animal right’s reasons? If so, has she protested the use of leather in fashion? I’m not knocking Jade at all, I just hope she’s educated before she makes a fuss.

This week’s photo shoot is inspired by nine nordic queens. It’s a cool (ha!) concept and all the girls look striking on set. Once the shoot is over, the girls decide to drink and reveal their first impressions of each other, which is just ridiculous. What sort of result did they expect other than screaming and fighting?

At panel, Lisa reveals that Daisy had the best photo of the week. In fact, she was so good, she was the guest judge for the week! The judges seem to love everyone this week, so it’s a bit of a surprise that Viola and Maddy are in the bottom two. Since the judges were split on Annaliese but universally disappointed in Maddy’s photo, it makes sense she gets sent home.

The girls miss Lauren, but not really because it’s a competition. On with it! We move right into the girls’ first challenge of the week, interviewing Louise Redknapp for Handbag.com. I’m Canadian, so who? But she seems lovely and patient with everyone, even the girls who are terrible, like Mecia who couldn’t speak and Sophie who went for the jugular. Hayley was clearly the best so it wasn’t surprising when she won.

The second challenge of the episode was modeling Louis’s hats at a party he was throwing. The girls were led to believe it was a sophisticated soiree, but really it was Louis and his friends hanging out in his basement/studio. Some of the hats were crazier than others and this helped (or hurt!) a few girls’ performances. Jade’s hat let her take on a new, seductive personality and it helped her to the win!

The photo shoot is a couture photo shoot inspired by contemporary British fashion and Kylie Minogue. We don’t get to see too much of it, so it’s hard to tell who is going home.

We then get a montage of bitchy comments from the girls. While these are fun, I’m not getting enough house drama between the girls to validate these comments and everyone – especially Sophie and Ashley – are coming across as two-faced bitches.

At panel, Mecia, Daisy and Jade are superstars and Chloe and Kasey end up in the bottom two. It’s the second week in a row in the bottom two for Kasey and Chloe is just terrible so they both get the boot! While I like Kasey, she hasn’t been performing and I think this is a fair decision.
