Toccara Jones Getting Own Reality Show?

Young, Black and Fabulous is reporting that America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 contestant Toccara Jones is getting her own reality show!

YBF says:

The show will follow the YBF chick on her daily model/actress/tv personality grind. And we get to get a peek into what she does on the daily. And maybe even her life as an NBA girlfriend.

Toccara is dating LA Clippers player Rashual Butler.

Oxygen tried the ANTM-alum show before – remember Pretty Wicked? I think Toccara has what it takes to carry her own reality show. The pilot is currently filming.

Top Models in Action: Natalie Pack

This week’s Top Model in Action was statuesque beauty Natalie Pack from Cycle 12. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is signed with Ford Models.

I liked Natalie’s look and am glad to see she’s getting work. However, I can’t help but wonder if it’s premature for her to be getting a TMIA segment. What do you think?

Tyra Banks & ANTM Alum Give Coats Away for Charity

The Tyra Banks Show partnered with Aerostaple to give away 100,000 coats for charity this past week in Grand Rapids. The coat drive was organized through the non-profit One Warm Coat, an organization whose mission is to ensure all children have coats to keep them warm through the winter.

Several Top Model alumni came out to help give away the coats, including Toccara Jones, Lauren Utter and Aminat Ayinde. The girls took some time to sign autographs for a few star-struck kids receiving the coats! Tyra didn’t make an appearance, but it’s still a great cause for her to support!

“My mother always used to go the Red Cross to get clothes and food. We always had hand-me-downs. I feel blessed to be here and to be able to give them something new,” Toccara told MLive.com.

The drive also hit close to home for Lauren, who was once homeless and Aminat, who said her family often struggled financially when she was growing up.

CariDee English Launching Music Career

CariDee English, the winner of Cycle 7 of America’s Next Top Model, has made a pretty big career change. CariDee is currently recording music with Better Than Ezra.

“Tom, he plays bass guitar, he’s doing a separate project, and he asked me to be the singer for it,” she told Digital Spy.

“We’ve been talking about it for two years, but I’m actually recording – this is set in stone – November 9 to 14. I sing, I play guitar, drums… I’m really fully emerging into music. Going full into that.”

CariDee has also recorded a single with Brad Walsh called “Boy Girl.” I’ve been trying to find it on the internet, but to no avail! Has anyone come across it?!

CariDee won’t be the first ANTM alum to make the move into music.

Naima Mora, who won cycle 4 of is the frontwoman for Brooklyn-based band The Chewing Pics and Sarah Vonderhaar from cycle 8 is hard at work on making music happen in Chicago.

Natasha Galkina in Trust Me

Natasha Galkina, the runner-up of Cycle 8 of America’s Next Top Model has turned to acting. Natasha is starring in Trust Me, a movie about the mafia, drug dealers and money launderers. The boss, as it turns out, isn’t the one in charge and the drama unfolds!

Natasha appears in the trailer at 0:42 and has a line at 1:07.

I’m glad Natasha is following her passions, but boy, this movie looks bad! I might try to find a download just to see Natasha though.

Zimbo Interviews Jade Cole

Zimbo caught up with Jade Cole, everyone’s bi-racial butterfly from Cycle 6 of America’s Next Top Model at the MCM New York Launch party. and they chatted about her work in Hong Kong and South Africa, her upcoming autobiography and more.

Jade just moved to Los Angeles and is trying to break into the film business. She also has a realistic take on the current season of Top Model: “It’s kind of sad because she’s giving false hope to young girls. Because in this harsh reality of the fashion world, let’s face it, being 5′6″…it’s not going to happen.”

Bre Scullark Arrested!

Bre Scullark, who competed on Cycle 5 of America’s Next Top Model, was arrested in New York City on monday. According to TMZ, Bre was in an altercation with another woman at a Starbucks.

According to reports, Bre accidentally picked up the other woman’s computer, thinking it belonged to a family member. Instead of politely giving it back, Bre got defensive and insisted it was her relatives. Then the conversation escalated to the point of arrest.

Bre was charged with disorderly conduct and later released. She will appear in court at a later date.

Bre was known for her temper on the show. While this incident isn’t exactly surprising, it seems like a really weird thing to get worked up over.

Nik Pace has a Baby!

Nik Pace, who was the runner-up of Cycle 5 of America’s Next Top Model, has taken on the role of a lifetime – that of a mom! Nik gave birth to a baby boy on September 1st. While no name has been revealed yet, Black Celebrity Kids revealed that the boy weighed a healthy 7 pounds and 5 ounces.

Only days before giving birth, Nik did a beautiful photo shoot with Essence magazine.

Congratulations Nik!!

Eva Marcille Talks Wedding Plans

Eva Marcille, the winner of Cycle 3 of America’s Next Top Model chatted with Essence last month about her upcoming wedding to Lance Gross.

The wedding is taking place on July 17, 2010 in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be a traditional Catholic ceremony followed by a reception outdoors:

The wedding is July 17 of next year in Los Angeles. It will be a Catholic wedding in a church with a reception outdoors. We are going with a fall color scheme. Amsale is doing my dress and the guys are wearing Tom Ford. I’m still looking for my planner, which is an experience in itself. I want someone who gets my style and can make it happen. I love my dogs and want them to come to the reception dressed in tuxes. I’m also changing to a second dress as we get ready to party.

Eva also talks about how she and Lance keep their relationship going despite their busy schedules, who she looks up to as relationship role models and more!

Her wedding sounds beautiful but very over the top! Dogs in tuxes? Sounds cute, but it’s not my thing.
