Top Models in Action: Natalie Pack

This week’s Top Model in Action was statuesque beauty Natalie Pack from Cycle 12. She currently lives in Los Angeles and is signed with Ford Models.

I liked Natalie’s look and am glad to see she’s getting work. However, I can’t help but wonder if it’s premature for her to be getting a TMIA segment. What do you think?

Tyra Banks & ANTM Alum Give Coats Away for Charity

The Tyra Banks Show partnered with Aerostaple to give away 100,000 coats for charity this past week in Grand Rapids. The coat drive was organized through the non-profit One Warm Coat, an organization whose mission is to ensure all children have coats to keep them warm through the winter.

Several Top Model alumni came out to help give away the coats, including Toccara Jones, Lauren Utter and Aminat Ayinde. The girls took some time to sign autographs for a few star-struck kids receiving the coats! Tyra didn’t make an appearance, but it’s still a great cause for her to support!

“My mother always used to go the Red Cross to get clothes and food. We always had hand-me-downs. I feel blessed to be here and to be able to give them something new,” Toccara told MLive.com.

The drive also hit close to home for Lauren, who was once homeless and Aminat, who said her family often struggled financially when she was growing up.

Allison Harvard on Know Your Meme

Rocketboom has a segment titled Know Your Meme, an internet video show that covers various online memes and trends, recently did an entire episode dedicated to Allison Harvard of Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model.

Allison was better known as Creepy Chan for the photos of her that appeared on the 4chan forums. The photos that made Allison notorious on this forum were swiped from her LiveJournal and DeviantArt accounts from as far back as 2005.

If you already know the Creepy Chan story, this video doesn’t reveal any new information. If you don’t, it shows how bizarre the internet can be sometimes!

It’s unknown whether Allison intends to pursue modeling anymore. She’s no longer on the boards at Nous Model Management. I liked Allison a lot and think her look is great. While I want to see her to continue to pursue modeling, I hope she finds happiness in whatever she decides to do!

ANTM & Tyra Banks Nominated for Tubey Awards

Every year, Television Without Pity gives out awards honoring the latest, greatest and outright weirdest in the past year on television. With categories like “Best American Accent by a Non-American” and “Most Ludicrous Plotline”, it’s a fun way to look back at the highs and lows we watched on the tube.

This year, Tyra Banks is nominated for “Worst Crime Against Fashion” for all her outfits at panel. She’s got some stiff competition, as she’s up against Betty’s entire wardrobe from Ugly Betty; Leslie Knope’s masculine buisness suit and haircut for the awards banquet from the season finale of Parks & Recreation; all of the Dharma jumpsuits we see on Lost; Kenley’s hip-hop outfit for Leanne on Project Runway; Ben’s flashback hair in the “Dead is Dead” episode from Lost; Howard’s eyepatch on The Big Bang Theory; Alex’s entire first-season wardrobe, hair and makeup on Ashes to Ashes; Lois Lane’s Stiletto outfit on Smallville; Claire’s wig on Heroes; Echo’s assignment outfit in “Echoes” on Dollhouse; Spinelli’s two-colored hooded sweater on General Hospital; Sharon Abbott’s hair on The Young & the Restless; Spencer’s beard on The Hills; Mindy’s wedding dress on Friday Night Lights; Howard’s entire wardrobe on The Big Bang Theory; Jack’s ’70s-era moptop on Lost; Paula’s big red Christmas bow on American Idol; Locke’s flashback hair on Lost; Echo’s white trash outfit in “Omega” on Dollhouse; Ben’s entire look in his 1988 flashback on Lost; Allison Iraheta’s entire look on American Idol; Vanessa’s lime-green leggings on Gossip Girl; and Kenley’s fascinators on Project Runway.

That’s quite the competition. The winner will be determined by readers’ votes and you can vote for Tyra (or save her from Worst Fashion fate) here.

Michael Steele rap-battle on The Colbert Report; William Wallace vs. Shaka Zulu on Deadliest Warrior; and Zbigniew Brzezinski calls Joe Scarborough “stunningly superficial” on Morning Joe.

Allison Harvard in Second FourFour Video

Allison Harvard appeared in another FourFour video, this time making an homage to Sifl and Olly’s “Fake Blood.” If you recall, the last time Allison was on FourFour, she was interviewed by a cat.

In the video, Allison makes some fake blood. She gets really into it and it’s cute and creepy at the same time.

While I love seeing Allison on FourFour, I hope we get to see her doing modeling gigs soon!

Winston from FourFour Interviews Allison Harvard

Allison Harvard, the runner-up of Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model, was interviewed by Winston, the resident cat at FourFour. The twosome talked about Allison’s owl-like features, her thyroid, her weave, her fascination with the Discovery Channel and how she feels about bananas. It’s a lot of fun to watch and it shows what a great sport Allison is.

Allison is in New York now, visiting Celia and (hopefully!) meeting with agencies. I think it would be great if she got signed in New York, it’s the best market for her and then her and Celia can hang out all the time. And I will pretend I am their friend.

ANTM Cycle 12 “Graduation Party” on YouTube

The America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12 reunion – which was a bikini and graduation themed party on The Tyra Banks Show is now up on YouTube. The episode aired the same day as the Cycle 12 finale – Wednesday, May 13th.

If you recall, this is when Tahlia Brookins revealed to the world she was pregnant.

Tyra Banks & Teyona Anderson at the CW Upfronts

The CW UpFronts took place earlier today in New York City. The UpFronts are when networks announce their upcoming fall line-up. America’s Next Top Model will return to Wednesdays at 8pm and is being paired with the new drama A Beautiful Life. A Beautiful Life should be a great match for ANTM, as it’s a fictional show about models living in New York City. It stars The OC alum Mischa Barton, supermodel Elle MacPherson and Sara Paxton. If you recall, it’s the show Analeigh Tipton from Cycle 11 was nearly signed for.

I must say, I love Tyra’s new hair color. It’s one of the best looks she’s had in a long time. And Teyona looks really cute.

Rich from FourFour Interviews Celia

Rich from FourFour sat down with one of my favorite girls from Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model, third-runner-up Celia Ammerman. The interview is explosive in that she reveals a lot of stuff we didn’t see on Top Model, including back story to Tahlia’s pregnancy, what happened at Natalie’s elimination and more.

Celia’s attitude towards the show is mature and refreshing, but I can’t help but wonder how saying these things will affect her relationship with ANTM and Tyra. Not that Celia cares, but Tyra is vengeful.

ANTM 12.13 “America’s Next Top Model is…” Bonus Clips

Here are the bonus videos from the season finale of Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model.

In this first clip, we hear Celia’s final words in the house. She’s trying her best to keep it together because the experience was so amazing.

In this video, we see Teyona, Aminat and Allison chilling out and relaxing with a camera and some photographs during down time.

This video is of Aminat after Celia’s elimination. She seems really together and confident about the ordeal.

Here is Allison right before her commercial. She’s really nervous she’s going to forget her lines.

In this clip, Aminat is getting ready for the CoverGirl commercial. She talks to McKey about the show so far and her goals for the rest of the season.

In this confessional, Teyona tells us about how poorly her commercial went. She’s afraid she’s going to get sent home because of it.

This video is the final three heading to the final elimination. It’s very tense on the bus!
