Autostraddle Interviews Kim Stolz

June 22, 2009 by Erin Balser

Kim Stolz, who competed on Cycle 5 of America’s Next Top Model, sat down with Autostraddle, a blog about girl-on-girl culture to talk to Kim about her life since ANTM. She’s been busy since her time on the show, and is now a blogger for the Huffington Post and an MTV News correspondent. She recently got back into modeling and signed with Ford Model Management.

Kim Stolz

Kim talks about how she transitioned from modeling into political commentary, Obama’s stance on gay marriage and gay rights, the reaction of the LGBTQ community to her new, more feminine look, her future plans and more. We can expect to see more of Kim, as she has great plans for herself.

As of right now, my dream project would be to host, write, and produce a political talk show that both brought the news to the viewer and brought many different opinions and had different pundits chiming in, and could be a compelling show in terms of opinions, but also would be fair and informational.

It’s a really long and in-depth interview! You can read it for yourself here.

Top Models in Action: Kim Stolz

November 18, 2008 by Erin Balser

Last week’s Top Model Action was cycle 5 contestant Kim Stolz. Kim now works as a correspondent for MTV news. I love Kim and would argue that she’s one of the more successful girls to come out of the ANTM franchise, but her success is in television, not modeling. Can she really be considered a “top model in action”?

Who do you think will be the Top Model in Action next week? It’s the finale, so they should pick someone super successful or with the perception of super success.

Kim Stolz is a Huffington Post Contributor

October 23, 2008 by Erin Balser

Thanks to Top Model Livejournal, I have learned that MTV VJ and America’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 contestant Kim Stolz has become a regular contributor to the super popular political blog the Huffington Post.

Kim has been writing for them since September 20 and has written about the vice-presidential candidates and Iraq vets returning home to a job hunt. I hope to see lots more of Kim’s work there in the future! I think Kim is great and has lots of interesting things to say.

Picture: Kim Stolz at MTV movie Awards

June 2, 2008 by Erin Balser

MTV VJ Kim Stolz worked the red carpet at last night’s MTV Movie Awards as she interviewed celebrity after celebrity. I love the outfit, but think she’d rock it far better if she stood up straight. And I really miss the super short hair she had when she was on ANTM. I know girls are allowed to change their hair as often as they want, but that was my favorite Kim look.

Did you watch the MTV Movie Awards last night? Did Kim work it? And what do you think of her outfit? Yay or nay?

I think she looks great, but am not too sure about that dress/boots combo. What about you? Do you like her outfit?
