Canadian Network A to Air Canada’s Next Top Model

Ever since CityTV was sold to Rogers, the fate of Canada’s Next Top Model has been up in the air. I don’t really know the details, but I do know that the resulting Canadian rights and ownership issues came into play, delaying the third season of the Canadian model of the Top Model franchise.
And finally, we have some news! According to several Canadian news sources, A, the sister chanel to CTV and was previousy known as the A Channel, now has the rights to CNTM and is currently developing the third cycle of the show.
CNTM will be part of a rebranding of A, making it a “more eclectic, edgy option for dramas and comedies,” a spokesperson for the channel said.
There hasn’t been anything else official, but my feeling is that casting and filming will be this summer, with the show to premiere either late summer or between ANTM Cycles. A also has the right to ANTM, so I doubt it would air the two shows at the same time. That would be overkill.
