AusNTM Cycle 2 Winner Waitressing

March 17, 2008 by Erin Balser

Australia’s Next Top Model cycle 3 winner Alice Burdeu is ripping up runways all around the world. But fashion is a fickle thing and one only has to look at AusNTM’s Cycle 2 winner, Eboni Stocks, to see.

Australia’s Daily Telegraph caught up with Eboni at her current gig–waitressing at Pavarotti in Waterloo.

Manager Frank Purcell gave Eboni the job because he felt bad for her. “She’s a good girl and she’s had a tough time,” he told the paper. “She asked me for some casual work and so far she’s turned out to be a great waitress.”

Eboni didn’t speak with the paper, but you can read the entire article here.

I don’t see what the big deal is, or why there was a need to write up an article about it. Big deal, she’s not succeeding in modeling & knows that she still needs a job to survive – whether or not it’s as a waitress position in the “food industry.” She needs to make a living somehow.

I liked Ebony from cycle 2 but it doesn’t suprise me she didn’t suceed big time with modeling. All the problems she had with her health during the cycle would make it hard. But at least she is making an effort to work and isn’t bitching to the paper about it.
