Apply for Canada’s Next Top Model

It looks like the third season of Canada’s Next Top Model is finally underway! They are accepting applications for the next cycle, which is scheduled to air in summer 2009.
The deadline for applications is December 22, 2008. To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is at least 5′8″ tall. Taping will be approximately 5 weeks long and will take place in winter 2009.

hey, I’ve watched this show for years now and I’m finally old enough to get on it, when I click the link above ” http://www.topmodelgossip.com/apply-for-canadas-next-top-model/ ” it doesnt give me the information that I need. How do I find the actual application form and contest rules?? Or have I missed my chance for this year? ( 2010 ? )
They haven’t released info for 2010 yet! I’ll post it when they do!

hey ive been wanting to be a model ever since i was born lol but i agree with joyce because im 5″6 and modeling and fashion is my passion but i dont understand why you guys have to hate on us short people !!:( i mean were fierce too i bet my walk could put all those tall giraffes to shame i mean look @ kate moss shes short and her walk and photos will have your head spinning for week anyways im still going to try to get in on the action next applications 2010/2011 soo watch out all you tall ladies im gonna do it for all my shorties lolololool

hi i’v dreamed of becoming a model for as long as i can remember but i’m only 5′ 1 1/2″ too short for CNTM i wish you would have a short model season and it would be nice if you could come to newfoundland for auditions i know its a small place but i think you would find lots of potetional here. please halp us short girls out.!!!!!
If you are all shorter than 5′8, I’m sorry but you can’t be on CNTM. But there’s other way to be a model. Some agencies are specialiase in smaller/catalogue model. Sadly, girls, you can’t make the high fashion runways with such little height… But like I said, there’s so many ways to get what you want. And if you really want to be a model, you will find a way to get through whatever it takes. If you’re not willing to take some risks, forget about it. Oh and don’t forget, you don’t pay an agency to represent you or to make a folio… They pay everything and they take a percentage on your contracts. Don’t spend money for that.
really.. i think modeling should be for tall women. not to discriminate or anything but its always been a dream for tall girls to become models one day, and to represent their height and confidence.. and i know A LOT of beautiful tall ladies would be extremely disappointed if they dedicated a whole season to short women.
me, and so many others have been waiting years for chances like this.

i agree with Jess. iv been waiting for this for so long and i hope they don’t do a short girl cycle 4 id just die. hope the auditions start soon.
yes i know tall girls look great in fancy dresses but why shouldn’t CNTM have a cycle just for short girls i mean it would just be one cycle out of many to come, where you have to be 5′8″ or over. to me thats just not fair tall girls get all the chances in the world and us short girls are stuck with the left overs trying our hardest just to get shut down. i’m mean like for you diana you would ( i quote) just die well you should understand how we feel its hard and if CNTM would just give short girls one chance like the 3 chances they gave all you tall girls, i’m sure they would find that we may be short but we’ed try so much harder and have more heart and soul in trying to make our dreams come true. so in shorter words i woulden’t be sorry if there was a short girl cycle i would be one of the most hardest working girls to win it.
Shantel I feel like you are putting down tall girls when you say that you would try so much harder and put more heart and soul into a chance if short girls were given one. It sounds like your dissing Diana for wanting a regular tall cycle just because you want a short one and thats not right. I understand that since all the shorter girls saw that america’s next top model did a short cycle, they would like cntm to do a short one too, but remeber, antm is in its 14th cycle now, and cntm is on its 4th!
I know as a tall girl I was kind of disapointed to see a cycle for petite models. It seems like modeling is one of the things us tall girls may have more opportunities in. I am not saying that short girls cannot model, because as we all have seen in antm cycle 13, they definetly can! But realize that just because one short cycle was done on antm doesn’t mean that cntm will rush to do it as well. And the tall girls will continue to stick up for keeping Canada’s Next Top Model a tall competetion.

yes i’m sorry i didnt think about how far along antm was and if i offended and tall girls i didnt mean too its just i’ve been dealing with being short and have always had to defend myself so i believe i choosed my words wrong in my last post. but you said that when you saw a short season of antm that you were disapointed but dont you think us short girls are always disapointed because theres a high limited, and seeing a season just for us short girls is like a dream come true, and not just another chance given to tall girls. why have a high limit why not just allow any hight try maybe instead of a tall or short season maybe it might be a idea to have all heights allowed to try out and not a tall vs short but just like any other season where everyone vs everyone. but again if i offended i am so sorry but again its how i felt my whole life. but every since antm started and well any modeling in general to me its like tall girls are better then short girls and well it makes me fell bad but in a way that like theres no way i’ll ever be good enought and like i know short girls do model but what about the run way?
