ANTM Cycle 12: Meet Aminat

Aminat Ayinde is a 21-year-old student from Union, New Jersey. The 5′11″ beauty has previous modeling experience, as she was on the cover of Omo Naija, a magazine celebrating Nigerian culture. You can see more pre-show photos here.

I like Aminat a lot. Her hair is freaking awesome (but I can see Tyra ruining it!). She’s an early favorite of mine, but it’s possible she’ll fall flat in the show.

She was my pre-show favorite just based on that photo alone but her pre-show photos show me nothing. She’s probably my second favorite of the black girls behind Sandra. I think I’m mesmerized by her hair, lol, and thinking about what awful thing Tyra is going to do it. She also seems like one of the only girls to have a slim figure and lovely skin. She reminds me a little of Stacy Ann without the massive jaw.
Her body is stunning, and her hair is perfection (but of course Tyra will change that!). I’m getting this vibe that she could be a lot like Yaya… I could totally see another kofia hat incident or another “respeito” shirt…
But if she’s nothing like Yaya I will love her.

Aminat reminds me so much of Danielle from Season 6. I haven’t watched but maybe two episodes of the current season, but I had to search the internet on Aminat’s biography.
I hate her. I hate the way she talks. She is ugly and I don’t like her at all she bugs me. I don’t like Teyona or Fo either.
You know at first, that was an ouch hearing people say that about Fo. But now I see why some people don’t like her. She’s rude, always expecting someone to do worse than her. That’s not beautiful at all and she was never really a model material (much like Allison) to begin with. I was losing faith in Fo anyway and I never truly cared for her. The only reason why I rooted for her is because she was blaxican. None of them really have what it takes. And Aminat will not win. She’s just not bringing it to the shoots.

I wanted Fo to win so bad! But since she’s gone, I hope Allison wins! I wished London was in the final 3 as well!
It would have been a much better cycle if Allison, Fo & London were the final 3!
She’s not 5′11 she’s 6′1” but yea she was at runway but her photos were plain and it doesn’t meet high standards of the modeling world.

Aminat is absolutely beautiful. She and Teyona didn’t handle the Celia and Tahlia thing well. They should have kept their comments among themselves or they could have came to them in a more diplomatic matter.
