ANTM Cycle 11 Pre-Show Interviews: Sheena

Sheena was recruited to be on ANTM by their scouts. She got a call from out f the blue, after she worked hard to put her name and image out there. Sheena really believes that there’s a big difference between girls from NYC and LA. She thinks the NYC girls are stronger and more confident.
Sheena thinks that being the only Asian competitor will give her a big advantage in the competition. There hasn’t been an Asian winner of ANTM ever. Sheena thinks her strong personality and confidence will let her stand out. She’s excited by all aspects of the competition.
As much as I’d love to see someone of Asian descent win the competition, I’m not a fan of Sheena. She seems too over the top to be a true top model. She also reminds me a bit of Jade from Cycle 6. But I could just be crazy.
Not to be racist, but she seems like a black girl to me
She seems very full of herself which is annoying.
She’s not really modelesque, but I think she looks like a sweetie. Was a bit turned off by her pre-show photos, but she seems really genuine.
And her confidence is great. Hopefully she’ll do all she says she’ll do.
I’ve always hated stereotypical castings on reality shows (i.e. the bitchy black girl, the token flamboyant queer, the boring girl who just fades away, the “I’m not here to make friends – I’m here to win!” contestant)… so to have such a different kind of Asian chick, I think in the very least she would be great to watch.
But yes, she does seem like a black girl in an asian body. Not a good or bad thing… just the way she is. No two ways about it!
Watching the video again… she does seem a little cocky towards the end
After watching the premier I have to say I’m rootin’ for Sheena! She’s so sweet and seems really genuine and friendly. I’m so glad that she’s confident and she won’t have the insecurity issues that gina of cycle 6 had!
i dont like the way she talks it sounds ghetto, she seems to be a black wanna be. not pretty either, face not proportional and large boned. i wish america only knew what true asian beauty was.
lol.. she isnt from halem.. i went to hs with her in hawaii… i live on the east coast now too.. been out here longer but she is a sweet girl… REAlLy confident….

If you have to open a sentence saying “Not to be racists” then you are about to say something racists. If she seems like a Black, then Black girls are full of themselves?

well for all i can , is that i dont care what nobody have to say bout sheena, i love sheena so much!! i mean her persernality,i look at her when she speaks i could see how she realy want this, i mean i swor she would have win
She is so obnoxious and loud! As an asian woman, I’m offended by the way she acts on the show. She argues with people just because they’re different from her, that’s pathetic. Futhermore…THE GIRL THINKS SHE’S BLACK! wtf?
