Tonight, the girls on America’s Next Top Model head to Hawaii. What sort of shenanigans will be in store for them there? Find out below!

Erin is disappointed with her performance and Brittany feels older, but more confident and well-rounded. As the girls head back to the house, it’s covered in “Danger” tape and see Tyra condemning the house. Tyra claims this is the most disgusting house in Top Model history. I’m sure the house is gross, but the grossest ever? Not sure.
Once the girls get to Hawaii, I’m instantly jealous. It looks beautiful. Naturally, there’s lots of screaming and gushing about the amazing-ness of the house. The house is decked out with televisions everyone, all which have Jen’s commercial. Once the girls get settled, they get Tyra Mail and look like they are playing sleepover. Erin braids Laura’s hair and Brittany interviews about how annoying Erin is.
The next day, the girls get a surfing lesson. It’s not all fun and games, because as soon as all the girls can stand up on the board, Jay shows up. This week’s challenge is to take a photo on the surfboard. Erin wins her second challenge in a row and her prize is a helicopter tour of the island. She picks Brittany and Nicole, which is interesting considering how much Brittany has bitched about Erin this episode. After their tour, Jen gets in on the Erin-complaining and it makes me think about this whole thing a bit.
Laura is insanely red. Poor girl.
Tyra is today’s photographer and the photo shoot concept is this offensive ethnically ambiguous thing. Inspired by the hapa (half) people of Hawaii and Barack Obama. Each girl is assigned two different races and cultures to portray. I appreciate incorporating the traditional fashion elements into the dress, but did we really need to paint the girls? That was just too much. Why would Tyra think this is a good idea?
Since I spent most of the photo shoot horrified, I miss who does a good job and who falls short. At panel, Erin straight-up admits she knows nothing about Tibet and wasn’t thinking of anything when getting her picture taken. As she explains herself, she just digs herself a bigger and bigger hole.
Miss J finally calls Sundai out for taking the same photo over and over. Thank goodness. I want to see something different from her. Nigel loves it though. They call Brittany out for bring stoic and Laura for taking a while to get it. They love Nicole and Jen’s photo. I’m glad to see Nicole is finally getting some Tyra-love. She did so well that she gets the first call-out, followed by Jennifer, Laura and Sundai. This leaves Erin and Brittany in the bottom two. Brittany is sent home and I’m surprised. Erin got saved twice in a row? Brittany gets sent home for a mediocre performance? Not surprising, but still. I was fully expecting Erin to get the boot.

Serious peeps, just when I thought ol’ bushy eyebrowed Erin was about to get the boot they kick off the girl who’s been steadily good the whole competition. I was not a huge Brittany fan (anyone who says they are very mature because they’re 21 isn’t very mature) but I still liked her photo, attitude and performance better than that bleached blonde mess.
As a big ps and fyi, if anyone… ANYONE wants to offer me a free Helicopter ride accross the Hawaiian islands, I will not say no or complain and promise to have the best damn time ever!!!

Why are they going to Hawaii? I’ve heard about the cost savings of not going international, but didn’t that house eat up the savings? Not sure, but it’s a beautiful location.
What did you think of the surfing photo challenge? I usually like the photo challenges more. This one seemed unusually challenging.
What’ Brittany’s problem with Erin? Eh, I think the editors built that up bigger than it was. I think they didn’t click and Erin acts younger than her age, but I didn’t really see the hate they were pushing.
Why is Erin never happy? Daddy issues? Who knows, really, but it seems like her personality is glum.
What did you think of the photo shoot concept? Horrified.
Whose photo was the best? The worst? Nicole’s was the best. I did think Brittany’s was worse than Erin’s.
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge? Meh.
Did Brittany deserve to go home? Absolutely. I have never liked Brittany’s pictures, I think they were B O R I N G. I don’t like Erin’s approach to life, but her pictures are okay.
Why are they going to Hawaii?
- As part of the recessionista trend, methinks. Who cares though? It looks like such a beautiful location that I don’t think it should matter that it’s in the USA. I live in Ireland so Hawaii looks like the most wonderful, beautiful place ever. (If I only I wouldn’t get sunburnt.)
What did you think of the surfing photo challenge?
- I thought it was really interesting. There’s no denying that it would be difficult to pose on a surfboard that’s bouncing along the waves so I think they did pretty well.
What’s Brittany’s problem with Erin?
- Erin’s being a typical 18year old teenager with an opinion. I was like that at her age. I’m 22 now and it really bugs me to see teenagers with attitudes like that because I know from experience that they’ll grow up and realise how annoying they were. I think Brittany may feel the same as I do.
Why is Erin never happy?
- She’s a perfectionist and I’ll never fault her for that. It’s admirable because it means she’s ambitious. Why she’s never happy with anything else? I’m not sure. She just seems a bit spoiled to me so that may be it.
What did you think of the photo shoot concept?
- I liked the concept but didn’t really see the point of having to paint their skin. I guess a lot of it could do with trying to see if the girls could ’shine’ through the heavy make-up and not let it intimidate them. I liked the styling and the location a lot.
Whose photo was the best? The worst?
- Nicole’s was my favourite. Absolutely stunning, elegant, angular. Sundai’s sucked (as per usual).
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge?
- Honestly, she didn’t even register on my radar.
Did Brittany deserve to go home?
- Hell no. Sundai should’ve gone home (weeks ago). Brittany’s produced some good shots as opposed to Little Miss 5′3″ so it’s a travesty that Brittany’s gone and Sundai’s still standing.
Why are they going to Hawaii?

– Cost savings. However, I was disappointed that Tyra didn’t justify it. It could be funny. “We are in Hawai because Hawai is a fashion capital of… bikinis?”
What did you think of the surfing photo challenge?
– I liked it. Plus, I would be thrilled if somebody gave me free surfing lesson:)
What’ Brittany’s problem with Erin?
– I think that Erin irritates pretty much everyone in the house, but I cannot stand her so I might be biased.
Why is Erin never happy?
– I think she is spoiled. And materialistic. “Omg, the house is sooo…expensive”.
What did you think of the photo shoot concept?
– Considering the latest French Vouge painted model scandal, it was pretty amusing

– The best – Nicole. The worst – I think Erin. But the horrible paint they put on the girls makes it difficult to judge
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge?
– Hmm… guest judges this season… meh. Just because there is always a guest person during the challenges who could be used in judging.
Did Brittany deserve to go home?
– No! I saw her in final 3. But I could see that coming. She is the type that Tyra always cuts off at this moment of competition. I think Sundai or Erin should have gone. Sundai is the weakest of the bunch and she would be long gone if she weren’t the shortest.
And editing couldn’t be more obvious. I knew Brittany was going home from the very beginning of the episode.

I was really sad for Brittany because she was one of my favorite. I know it’s because I’m 5′4 and brunette and I love maths but… she deserved to be in top 3! She doesn’t need this show because she’s already a model but… Sunday is just boring.
Hawaii is a good destination. I’m french an the weather in Paris is soooooo cold. It makes me dream!
Oh and I can’t stand Erin. she’s a babycry. I don’t think she’s perfectionist. It would be painful to work with her if she cries everytime she’s disappointed/judged/does not have a material gift….
Why are they going to Hawaii? Because this was the cycle of budget cuts; no Paulina; no Sutan/Christian Marc or other regulars; Tyra as photographer for two shoots; no designer wardrobe for Tyra, etc.
What did you think of the surfing photo challenge? I don’t see how it was relevant. If they want them to be aware of their bodies, there are other ways to do it without potentially causing them bodily harm but this is Tyra so logic goes out of the window.
What’ Brittany’s problem with Erin? She thought she was a brat and a lot of folks wouldn’t disagree.
Why is Erin never happy? Because she’s immature.
What did you think of the photo shoot concept? I didn’t see the point. If someone want’s a bi-racial model, they can hire one. Although, Paris Vogue does have the recent Lara Stone edi that’s been raising eyebrows. I love how Tyra knew this could be potentially offensive and worked hard to explain. As for her execution, it was her typically inconsistent stuff. 3/4 of the three of the girls bodies shown, one head-and-shoulders, and two full length. How can you compare photos fairly if they aren’t all alike? Her first shoot this cycle was the same. I’m also tired of her sepia fixation.
Whose photo was the best? Nicole but I liked Brittany’s as well. The worst? Sundai. She looked 2 feet tall, had the same 3/4 profile and looked like a child (as mentioned by the panel).
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge? She was okay like most of them have been but again, it’d be better if the guest models interacted with the girls and taught them some things but the budget this cycle probably didn’t allow it.
Did Brittany deserve to go home? No. Sundai should have. Sundai should have gone home last week. The fact that Sundai wasn’t even in the bottom the past two weeks is bull. She has the least chance of working as a model. But this is typical since this time in the cycle is usually when Tyra starts her bs elims.
Why are they going to Hawaii? Because it’s a beautiful place!
What did you think of the surfing photo challenge? I thought it was great. I did the same thing this summer, I went to Hawaii and a photographer was taking pictures during my surf lesson and I got to buy them afterwards. I’m proud to say my pictures turned out great! Maybe I’m a model at heart.
What’ Brittany’s problem with Erin? She’s probably just annoyed with her. She’s a pain, but she’s a good model, and Brittany probably thinks she’s way more mature than her.

What did you think of the photo shoot concept? It was really interesting. I’ve always thought of what I would look like as a different race and it was so interesting to see.
Whose photo was the best? The worst? Laura’ was so beautiful! My favorite. Worst was Sundai, could have been great, but she looked so dwarfed.
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge? Inconsequential.
Did Brittany deserve to go home? At this point I don’t really think anyone deserves to go home, they’re all great models, but someone had to. I think this is the first cycle where I’m not rooting for any one person to win or any one person to go home.
Why are they going to Hawaii? ~ It keeps them in the States so costs are lower and can be spent on other stuff like a TV in every room.
What did you think of the surfing photo challenge? ~ Hilarious: YAH, everybody who’s never surfed before can learn in an hour, as well as POSE while doing it! There’s your proof that editing screws with our minds.
What’ Brittany’s problem with Erin? ~ Brittany feels insecure so she has to knock someone else down, and who’s an easier target? She may have granted Erin some slack because of the helicopter invite, but overall Brittany can’t relate any more to being a teenager. She’s ‘analytical now’… (read: competitive & calculating).
Why is Erin never happy? ~ I think because once you seem content and cheery, others expect more of you, and Erin is afraid of having extra demands on her: she’s already scared enough. Also, she’s probably either an only child or the baby, and is used to being allowed to do whatever she wants.
What did you think of the photo shoot concept? ~ Odd, but intriguing, and very theatrical … hey, it’s TYRA.
Whose photo was the best? The worst? ~ Oh, Nicole hands-down for best, and for worst? Uhmm … I wasn’t fond of Laura’s. I love Laura, but her pic made me want to go to the bathroom.
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge? ~ Who? OH-oh yeah. That Rapunzel creature. *yawn*.
Did Brittany deserve to go home? ~ No but I saw it coming. She’s been sliding, and the ‘robotic’ quality was irritating Tyra. Robots can’t “SMIZE”, lol.
Why are they going to Hawaii?
i think they can’t go anywhere europe (cause the market of the petite girls are low) and they can only go somewhere exotic where petite market is high.

i bet the editing makes it bigger than it is. usual reality tv shows. cause look! erin picked brittany to share her winning prize.
Why is Erin never happy?
i can relate to her, sorta. like when i performed poorly, i’m not gonna be happy and bubbly and whatever. i’d be hard on myself. and i understand how she says she prefer jewelry to helicopter tour. i so get it! especially cause i’m not a big fan of height.

i think it’s actually really cool. but i can see some people might get offended by it. it’s kinda like the got milk photoshoot they did in naima’s cycle.

nicole’s is the best. she’s like walking to grab something. i like this girl. the worst probably is laura’s. i totally don’t get the legs. i love laura but this is not her strongest photo.

no! i mean sundai right there NEVER have any pretty good pictures or been called first. hello?
Looks as if all the judges and well as Tyra have their fav’s. I can not understand for the life of me why Sundai is still on the show. I think Tyra feels sorry for her home life and is giving her more opportunity.
With Erin… Who knows what is going on with her. I wish I could kick her and ask her “Hey, are you not listening to what these people have been telling you week after week.” She was very nervous areound Tyra and I wish she would just get over it. I think they kept her because she does great shots. I really like her work she has put out so far.
I am so glad to see Brittany gone. Talk about annoying voice!
Sundai needs to go next! Then Jen, she does nothing for me.

What did you think of the surfing photo challenge? It was okay nothing special, but I wish Erin would be more grateful of the price, I mean how many times can you rid in a helicopter over places like that.
What’ Brittany’s problem with Erin? I agreed with what someone already mention that they edited certain scene to make it look like a bigger problem then it was.
Why is Erin never happy? More like maturity and how she deal with this competition, since last episode I think she is prone to overconfident.
What did you think of the photo shoot concept? I like it and I really don’t mind it so much, I don’t think it was offensive at all. She shown the beauty of each concept instead of making fun of it. I was a bit skeptic at first when I read the preview on wiki and thinking like oh no it’s going to be horrible, but it turn out better then I’d expected.
Whose photo was the best? The worst? Nicole by far was the best, the worst had to be either Sundai and Brittany.
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge? She was okay, I was more eager to see her because I really her as one of the supermodel.
Did Brittany deserve to go home? Yes, along with Sundai.
Why are they going to Hawaii?
Sometimes they do refer to it as an “overseas destination”, in which case, it is technically fully within categorical bounds. I don’t know what’s the big deal about going to Hawaii. There were budget cuts, and Hawaii was a great idea to compensate. Besides, only the views are complaining about it rather than contestants. Just because Hawaii is part of the US, doesn’t mean it isn’t a culturally different from the rest of the US, which in many ways it is. Hawaii would probably yield more culture shock than an international destination such as Canada, people would probably experience more culture shock in Hawaii than Western Europe, if we didn’t bias our opinion Hawaii based on political boundaries (Hawaii is part of the US, so we automatically make it less “foreign” in our minds, but try actually objectively comparing Hawaii, mainland US, and Western Europe)
What did you think of the surfing photo challenge?
Interesting concept, but questionable execution. Some girls had to put more attention into the balance aspect than the modeling aspect, which is a distraction. The focus should have been put on getting a photo than having to balance for an extended period of time- a good model can make us think she can surf, even though she can’t.
What’ Brittany’s problem with Erin?
Based on the show, Erin has not really liked Brittany for a long time- a hint way back was “the mighty have fallen” comment. Ultimately, it seemed like a clash of personalities. Erin is of the more vocal variety and Brittany the more stoic.
Why is Erin never happy?
Eh? She seemed plenty happy when she was singing her model song.
What did you think of the photo shoot concept?
I thought it was interesting. I think it was a good idea to have one where the girls really had to be something they are not, skin and all. I thought some of the “nationalities” chosen were way too unknown or at least information should have been provided (you’d expect that a real model would at least know ahead of time and could research herself). I mean seriously, what was Erin supposed to do with Tibet? And the ONLY thing Tyra seemed to know about it is the Dalai Lama and WHAT is Erin supposed to do with the Dalai Lama? That’s not useful information to gain inspiration from (let me pose as an old guy wearing robes), especially, if one knows little to nothing about their tiny sect of Buddhism (it’s not mainstream Buddhism and the followers are basically limited to Tibet). Another example is Madagascar- yes, I know of it, it’s an island off of Africa, but that’s ALL I know and more than I’d expect these girls to know. Info regarding Madagascar of all places, is not the type of info that should be expected from these girls nor the general public (keep in mind that there are a myriad of nations and ethnicities, and being expected to know the photo shoot inspiration worthy info is completely unrealistic, and finding such a person is like lottery odds. It’s natural for people to keep useful and/or relevant info- if Madagascar were a world power, had a strong influence on US history, or even world history, it would be a different story.
Whose photo was the best? The worst?
I saw pics of the photos beforehand, and I liked Erin’s the best minus the front arm/shoulder, I thought she really pulled something off in that, she was the only one I couldn’t recognize (like she was a completely different person in the photo).
On the show, I found out that they’re supposed to represent two different cultures, in which case, she completely fails to portray the concept, and the photo of Nicole used in panel was a different one than the one I saw beforehand (in which case, I hate the legs and feet in). I think Nicole’s panel picture was indeed the best.
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge?
Don’t really remember and still don’t know who she is. Doesn’t really add much in terms of entertainment or some sort of extra-spectacular arbitration ability.
Did Brittany deserve to go home?
Pre-show, thought Sundai’s picture was the worst. Knowing the whole Moroccan-Russian thing, it gave her picture more cred and made it better, but Brittany’s still had cred too. Brittany’s shoot was terrible; she did the same darn pose throughout- we get that you got a vision, girl, but learn to revise the vision, and change it up. With all the abilities of cameras these days, Sundai still looks incredibly short in her picture, distractingly so. While I still really like Erin’s photo (2nd after Nicole’s), she still did miserably in the photo shoot, and failed to portray her given concept, so I would’ve had a bottom three with Brittany, Sundai, and Erin, with either Brittany or Sundai eliminated, but probably more likely Sundai, based on past performance- Brittany deserves an elimination scare to whip her into shape than Sundai. Failing to show her height is also an old issue, but Brittany’s issue is new, and she deserves the chance to rectify it. Erin is only safe because she at least got a good photo, while the other two are more on theme, but just okay, in addition to Sundai’s too manifest shortness, and Brittany’s hip-on-hand photo session (Erin’s photo shoot problem regarding her being uninspired by Tibet, I find Tyra more culpable for expecting her to know the goods (especially when all she seems to know is “Dalai Lama”. Still she didn’t ask and her picture doesn’t work with it, so she deserves an elimination scare).
this episode seemed really short and like nothing happened.
i wonder if the CW got some sort of tax break or something for keeping the whole show within the US. wouldn’t be surprised, as they claimed they fired paulina for financial reasons.
HOW IS SUNDAI STILL THERE
Ha! Sundai should have been gone last week or earlier for sure. The most popular theory is that Tyra doesn’t want an all vanilla final. Which would explain her keeping Sundai and Jennifer; both of whom are getting called to high for the shots they’ve produced. I give Jennifer credit though for not doing her Bucky the Beaver thing this week though and Tyra for rewriting the photoshoot history. I can’t believe Sean Patterson at Wilhelmina is/was happy with Tyra trying to force Sundai/Jennifer on him. Hopefully, he signs Nicole as soon as she’s eliminated (because we know a girl who can actually model is not winning this show). Laura’s not Nicole’s level but I hope she gets signed as well and Erin and Brittany. Wilhelmina snapped Courtney right up and I can’t see these girls not getting signed as well. Let Sundai or Jennifer have the title and hopefully fall into oblivion (or lots of appearances on Tyra’s talkshow).
I will not complain if any of the girls win EXCEPT for sundai, I mean we already know who is NOT going to win, and that’s nicole,not only is she the best, but tyra hates her so she’ll probably be 1st or 2nd runner up, and I totally see sundai in the final 3, and yes it’s because she’s black and the shortest. as for jennifer, I dont hate her but I dont love her, so I guess the winner will be either jennifer or erin, cuz laura is really sweet but all the good things they say about her in panel, in no time tyra is going to say those are bad things in the modeling industry.
and I totally think brittany should not have been sent home
what I dont belive… is that I’m still watching ANTM because it drives me crazy!! hahaha :p

Why is it that all the other girls were made to look darker (like a darker mixed race) but Sundai, who is clearly very dark, was not made a bit lighter to coincide with being ‘half-russian’. I feel that if we are going to break racial barriers than we need learn that all skin types are beautiful, not just dark skinned women.

Are we watching the same show? I saw the girls’ photos on youtube before i watched the episode, and my first reaction was “wow, erins photo is amazing!” it really is on the best photos in top. model. history. what the hell were the judges criticizing it for? the same goes for Brittany’s photo! I’ve never really been a fan of her, it was definitely one of the better photos out of the group and she was right to tell Tyra at the end that she thought it was good. and these two girls end up in the bottom two? The judging panel has become nonsensical. It seems that some girls just arent really scrutinized at all whereas others can’t avoid harassment from the judges.
I’m sorry I love Laura but her photo was really bad this week. the legs were a mess and her expression was vacant and just random, but the judges were loving it. wtf? If the girls were being judged on these photos, then Laura and Sundai should have been in the bottom two.
This cycle was going well until last week when Rae got kicked off. Also im starting to get bored with the once amazing Bloody Eyeball. The more Erin is portrayed as the underdog, the more i want her to win.

Did Brittany deserve to go home? Yes, her body of work isn’t as strong as the others. MY favorites are Nicole and Laura. Jennifer and Erin are pretty good too. Sundai has, like nigel said, one great look. She’s going next week, I am sure, unless they are determined to keep the only african american model on a bit longer. I hope Nicole or Laura wins.
i am STILL asking anyone who will answer “WHY IS JENNIFER STILL THERE?!” in fact, howd she get on the show in the first place? being 5′5 isnt bad enough, but she also has a lazy eye, buck teeth and even though the whole painting-a-different-race was offensive, all the girls looked pretty- except for bucky beaver (im sorry, i meant jennifer). she looked hideous, yet noone bothered to point that out- maybe theyre going blind from looking at one boring photo after another of girls standing there with there mouth slightly parted. that girl couldnt find work in this industry if she gave every agency a trillion dollars as a bribe. not only is she short and assymetrical, but her legs are short and stumpy, so out she goes. yet tyra sees potential- because shes an ex-model, not an agent!! i dont know why she cant get it in her head that the real fashion industry looks at everyone shes chosen as tainted goods. it blows my mind that people like jennifer and (im sorry) laura get chosen out f thousands of most likely gorgeous girls who actually LOOK like models- its just tyras way of forcing a girl to turn into a “model” when in reality she just looks like a random girl on a professional set. its a no-go. laura is sweet and very likeable, but im sorry, that doesnt matter in modeling. most models ive worked with are bitches and are tall, thin and stunning- thats all you need. seriously. ive actually experimented with this once, by accident. there was an open call for an agency and i felt like crap but showed up anyway, and i literally said like 5 words in monotone after i made it past the first cut to the people asking me questions, and they called me later in the week to ask if i would sign with them (i went with another agency). they dont care. really. laura is cute. thats it. her face is nothing special, and if she showed up to any commercial agency’s open call (i dont even know if they have those), theyd tell her to lose 20 pounds. IF she was 5′11 and came to any agency, theyd tell her the same thing. shes by no means fat in the real world, but in the modeling world? way larger than they book. as if being 5′6 wasnt obstacle enough, it kind of breaks my heart that this girl wants to be a model so badly and now thinks its possible since tyras falsely filling the contestants heads with crap like “i believe you all can be edgy high fashion models” (further proff she has no idea what the real industry thinks of her stupid ideas), and when she gets out there in the real industry, she will not be able to even SUBMIT to agencies at her height, let alone be signed. i honestly dont even think she can work in commercial. commercial, by the way, is not “face modeling” like tyra says- she implies models who work for cosmetic lines are commercial, but they are always fashion models: tall. commercial is cell phone ads with the family and bored-looking kid of average attractiveness- THATS what most of these girls may be booking in the future. sundai is of course never going to work either, and we know how i feel about jennifer. brittanys had tons of experience, so she should have stayed off the show because now she been tainted by tyras ridiculous reputation, and nicole is beautiful and will most likely be signed (shed better win or im boycotting this show in a big way). erin MIGHT work occasionally, but she seems to think shes going to be booking vogue covers and shoots all over the world: not gonna happen sweetie. wow this is a long one. anywho, this episode showed off how spoiled and worthless erin is, how talented nicole is (not that modeling takes that much talent; trust me, ive been modeling for years and the only hard part is not falling asleep while waiting for the set and lighting to be rearranged), how hideous jennifer is, and how ridiculous tyra is- she claims she shot them for a second time because “theyre beautiful and inspire HER” as if shes the only one in the world to ever think a girl under 5′9 is beautiful. newsflash: most of these girls have been told theyre gorgeous from the time they were in diapers. she acts like shes giving girls with terminal illnesses or disfigured faces a chance to model, as if being short is a disease. one more thing: why do they bother teaching them runway? runway shows never ever use short girls. ever. waste of time. im done now.
oh one more thing; ill tell ya why theyre going to hawaii: because the girls are short and tyra doesnt give a crap about them because she knows the vast majority of them wont work when the show wraps anyhow. i mean, she hired amateur makeup artists in place of sutan and his minions, and some random hairdressers instead of the amazing christian. tyra even admitted a while ago that she is only doing this show because annoying, delusional short women (who dont look like models anyway, but somehow have convinced themselves they too are just as pretty as kate moss) hounded her constantly about giving short chicks a chance. NOW of course tyra acts like it was her idea and is a martyr for shorties. sorry ty, just another hair-brained idea that will generate no work for the girls involved- even less than usual since theyre clealry never going to work in high fashion

I also have the feeling that the real name of the recession is “I don’t really give a damn about the midgets, they are all short and ugly anyway. We will dress and photoshop them to make them 5′10” and then they will look less short and ugly”.

@brittany stasiak: I tottaly agree, tyra does’nt give a crap about them, this cycle is another excuse to make HER look taller, more gracious and more of a “legend” super model, I can’t believe no one says anything about them not wearing heals for panel, or how the camera is always from the top so they look even shorter, and when tyra is near them without heels the camera does something funny so you dont notice that the difference in height is not that big actually!! that’s why when tyra is with the girls they are not shown togheter in the shot.

Why are they going to Hawaii?
Ive heard about cost issues like everybody else, and I figure that Tyra was like “yay i always wanted them to go to hawaii and heres an excuse” but its not fair that this group of girls doesnt get to abroad experience like the other girls. Dani and Naima’s abroad experiences were so great, and these girls get a little surfing lesson….? oh, and a zillon-dollar-house. riiiight.

when jay said he was doing it, i thought… this aint gonna work. but it did. but i didnt think erin ought to have won. i think i recall liking jen & lauras photos more, but i dont remember really.. i dont even remember erin’s shot. see? its unmemorable. not good! haha

i think they just showed that because they wanted to bash erin on screen for effect, but i bet brittany said that one night when she was extra annoyed. thats just what i think. erin seems kind of annoying, but they all do…
Why is Erin never happy?
i think someone called her out for single child syndrom or something along those lines. sounds right to me. i can understand being upset at having no prize to like wear or eat or sell on ebay for thousands of bucks, but it was inconsiderate to talk about it on tv when the judges & tyra can watch and be like.. WOW.

What did you think of the photo shoot concept?
I thought it was kind of weirdd, but some of the pictures looked great, i.e. laura!! she looked amazing, better than she does now, with darker skin and darker hair. its like, now she knows what she would have looked like if she was hapa, and i think shje said she wanted to know. so. it was alright.

best was laura. worst was erin.
How was Kirsty Hume as a guest judge?
again, i dont remember. why is tyra picking these guest judges that have nothing to do with the episode challenges? why never any of the photographers or maybe one of those hot surfer dudes?

no. erin should have. but the judges didnt see what we saw. so.
Now that Brittany is eliminated, I believe Sundai will be next, followed by Laura.
