ANTM 12.04 “New York’s Finest” Photo Shoot

On last night’s episode of America’s Next Top Model, the girls were put into teams of two or three and each team portrayed a different type of stereotypical New york personality.
Even though the photo shoot was a team effort, the girls were judged independently. The girl who was called first would get only her face in the digital art of the week – the other girl(s) were cropped out!
Here are the photos, in call-out order of the highest girl.
Sandra & Celia: New York Nannies

Tahlia, Teyona & Natalie: Times Square Tourists
London & Allison: Upper East Side Socialites
Kortnie & Nijah: Soho Artists

I don’t get how Tahlia’s picture was praised…I mean, what is modelesque about her picture? she is just standing there and smiling with her hand hanging.

Hollywood – I 100% agree. It’s not modelesque at all and she definitely got the one theme that was best suited to non-modelesque photos. They gave natalie crap for having a weak photo, but she’s the most modely of the bunch here.

I think her photos very commerical. I can see its in a jpenny or kmarts catalog. now sure.
I don’t understand this week’s judging, it was all backwards, Tahlia was praised for looking like a girl posing on a bus while they hated Allison’s photo?, when frenemies take photos, it’s usually something like that, one being visibly bitchy and the other almost faking it.

god i am so sick of thalia complaining…i mean she is not pretty, does not have a model’s body, and has zero self confidence…booo
After looking at the pics again, I think AMinat and FO should have been the best group. I mean they played the role while looking modelesque. Sandra and Celia are giving us Marie Antoinette couture. Good but not the assignment. The judges are always contradicting themselves. They criticize Allison for not playing the role but they praise Sandra/Celia for not, um, playing the role. Typical ANTM trend.
Over Sandra. Over Tahlia and over Kortnie. Seriously, why is Tahlia still on the show? how can Nijah and Jessica go home before Tahlia? lmao! what a joke!
it’s funny. when you look at fo in her photo…she looks a tad like jaslene.
I don’t understand the judging criteria…I understand how the Nannies were on top (even though its not really an NYC personality lol) but the whole Tahlia praise in Time Square? Please…and I loved the Upper East Side Socialite picture alot, cuz ya know…it actually looks like a modelesque picture.
