ANTM 11.13 “America’s Next Top Model is…” The Runway

November 21, 2008 by Erin Balser

The runway on the finale of America’s Next Top Model was insane! It was pink and long and had hills and stairs. Jay clearly had Sr. Suess in mind when he put this together.

Unlike runways in seasons past (Cycle 7 and 8 were absolute disasters), I thought this candy land, as crazy as it was, worked. I liked how all the models and and “whoa” moment at the top of each hill. It was powerful and fun to watch. An this crazy runway tied in well with the fashion and aesthetic of the designers and photo shoots they did in Amsterdam.

Here’s a clip of the runway, for those who missed it.

What do you think? It is a high-fashion candy land? Or a hot pink disaster?

The runway was fun to watch. McKey was so much better than Sam. First of all, she’s very tall and lean, with legs that go on forever. Whereas Sam looked short and stumpy and it’s the first time I noticed that she has bow legs. Ew! Not good for a model. Also, I don’t know if anyone noticed just how FAKE Whitney was throughout the whole thing?? She grates on my very last nerve. Can’t stand her face and I’m glad we won’t be seeing any more of her from now on. Goodbye Miss Pagent Queen!

  2. HOLLYWOOD BS says:

In all fairness, Whitney’s walk was actually good. Compared to that earlier runway challenge, I think Sam’s walk improved.

I’m happy with the final two and the outcome…for once.

does anyone know the song that they used? the one when Whitney came out??

btw, Whitney’s walk was actually great
