Allison wasn’t at tyra banks’ reunion either. But I couldn’t stand her so I didn’t care. I was disappointed Anya wasn’t there though

  2. Bri says:

Also, I can’t stand Joslyn. I didn’t like Clark either, but Joslyn looks too old! I would seriously think she was closer to 30 than 20

I really don’t know what she’s talking about. I lived in Germany for 5 years and one of my ex-co-workers was French (born and raised) and she wasn’t like that AT ALL. In fact, she was one of the most positive and ambitious people I have ever met. I think Marjorie is just using her nerves and cultural background as an excuse. I think it’s the WAY you were raised, not WHERE you were raised that makes the difference. What is she doing there anyway?? She is so painful to look at and you just want to slap some senses into her. That, and strap her arms down. Geez.

Was there really a point to the “making clothing fit” challenge?

Is it REALLY like that in catalogue shoots? Are catalogue clothes really that horrendous? And would the client really make models wear sizes that are 3 sizes too big? I highly, highly doubt it. After all, the catalogue is selling a product and they want to make sure the model looks good in their clothes.

HAHA They’re so stupid at ANTM!!! Seriously running out of ideas! Also how is a blackout a natural disaster???

Whose photo was your favorite? Least favorite?

Marjorie’s was the best and it’s funny that she didn’t mention how Jay had to push her to get a good shot. It all seemed natural to her. One thing I’d like to point out is that she looks MUCH MUCH better with blonde hair. That mousy brown they did at the makeover was truly horrendous.

    The worst: Sheena and Clark

Why is Lauren Brie still getting 0 screen time?

Because Tyra doesn’t want someone better than her to get attention.

Did Samantha deserve to be called first?

I really don’t like Samantha. She’s UGLY and annoying. *sigh* I really don’t like this cycle. None of the girls are attractive in any which way possible. Not even in the “model ugly” sense. The one I’m rooting for is Lauren Brie because she takes good pictures. But other than that, she’s no big deal. I’m hoping the next cycle will be better. It’s the first time I don’t look forward to watching the show every Wednesday. Fail.

Is Marjorie’s claim her negativity/nervousness are a result of cultural differences fair?
i don’t think so! i’ve lived all over and coming to canada wasn’t a big shock to me. i realize that it’s not the same as america…but i lived in france too. and i’m not an awkward spaz.

Was there really a point to the “making clothing fit” challenge?
um. no. who puts water bottles in their pants?

Are traffic jams really natural disasters? Discuss.
it’s not a natural disaster, but i guess it is still something of a disaster? maybe this shoot should have come later when there was less girls to shoot, so that they could have cut out the traffic jam idea and analeigh’s shoot with the blow drier.

Whose photo was your favorite? Least favorite?
i LOVED sheena’s! and i thought mckey’s was disappointing considering all the praise from mr. jay she got, and i hated samantha’s.

Why is Lauren Brie still getting 0 screen time?
i guess because she’s “normal” and therefore “not interesting?” kind of sad. she’s a good model.

Did Samantha deserve to be called first?
NO!!!!!!! i didn’t like her picture AT ALL and her attitude about marjorie is a bit over the top.

  5. neo says:

Is Marjorie’s claim her negativity/nervousness are a result of cultural differences fair?
i think everyone is raised differently no matter were you’re from. im sure there are europeans that are not like that. so i think it is fair, besides, she’s not the one that brought up cultural differences, it was paulina. marjorie was talking about the way she was raised.

Was there really a point to the “making clothing fit” challenge?
i guess. if they feel the need to talk about it maybe it does happen.

Are traffic jams really natural disasters? Discuss.
i think its more of a regional or cultural disaster. I live in LA and the traffic is pretty trajic!

Whose photo was your favorite? Least favorite?
favorite was samantha. she did a great job!. least favorite would probably be clark’s or joslyn’s.

Why is Lauren Brie still getting 0 screen time?
because she’s kinda in the middle right now and they only have 1 hr to show the really good and the really bad.

Did Samantha deserve to be called first?
    hell yeah.

  6. neo says:

also, marjorie photoshoot seemed to be going bad but during elimination they didint talk about how bad and how coached she had to be. i think its because the judges really like her and they dont want to be TOO hard on her. they want her to have confidence so they can keep her around.

  7. adsaf says:

Is Marjorie’s claim her negativity/nervousness are a result of cultural differences fair?
-somewhat. i think it’s more of her family upbringing than a cultural thing. she has her own type of social anxiety (wouldn’t be social anxiety in france since she claims it’s a norm, but it would be in america since that’s what our culture defines it as) of nervousness when she feels like she’s being judged.

Was there really a point to the “making clothing fit” challenge?
    no.

Are traffic jams really natural disasters? Discuss.
depends on how one defines it. humans are part of nature, so traffic jams are as ‘natural’ as, say, a heard of wilderbeasts stampeding a village. or, one could define natural disasters as incidents created by the earth and thus jams aren’t natural diasters. traffic accidents would be a ‘disaster’ but ‘jams’ wouldn’t, however. jams = just cars stuck in traffic, nothing disasterous about that. i think they were just running out of ideas.

Whose photo was your favorite? Least favorite?
    least = clark
    best = lauren
in regards to sam’s photo, i think they photoshopped that water wave in from one of her other shots.

Why is Lauren Brie still getting 0 screen time?
    ask the pd

Did Samantha deserve to be called first?
no. her face could use some diversity. she’s already done a face like that from a previous shoot.
