There are seven shots of Tyra before a contestant appears in the opening. What do you think of that?
Aww, Claire’s baby misses her mom. Being away from your kid must be hard. Awww, Claire’s baby is cute! i wonder if/when we’ll see pictures of Dominique’s baby.
Dominique’s alarm is going to cause drama. When you live alone, you can take as along as you want to get up. But when you have roomies, letting your alarm ring 6 or 7 times will always cause problems. I’m just surprised it hasn’t been an issue until now.
It’s weird to see Claire and Anya getting mixed up in the drama. I guess Tyra’s eliminated all the drama queens. I love how calm Claire is when she’s confronting Dominique! It’s making Dominique look really immature. Then, whoa! Lauren’s involved! Lauren is crazy! I think I love it. How did this happen?!
Then Whitney gets involved. Far less surprising.
Then it’s over. The previews made this look far worse than it was. Conclusion: previews suck. I’m never going to watch previews again so all future outbursts will be unexpected and overblown and as delicious as reality television should be.
But now Dominique is broken, and she thinks the girls are doing it on purpose.
According to the Tyra Mail, the girls are sick. I really hope this doesn’t mean a hospital themed shoot. Thankfully it doesn’t. It just means Tyra is their cabbie. This might be worse. I have yet to decide.
The girls are going to learn how to dance. Wearing red leotards. Red leotards=red blood cells=sick? I still can’t figure this Tyra Mail out. The girls practice their runway walks and poses, which is a smart thing to do. Some of these girls are really bad walkers. And Tyra, she knows what she’s doing. Until she sprains her ankle! Oh no! Oh wait, she’s faking! That’s the sick part! I get it now!
The girls practice headaches, heartaches and menstrual cramps. I think they are prepping for an audition for One Life to Live or All My Children. It’s that over-the-top.
The girls then do a pose-off, and all this makes a lot more sense. I need to stop being mean to Tyra and start believing in her.
Tyra was “aching” to tell them that the pose-off was a challenge! This theme is going to kill me! Ha! Kill me! I’m hilarious!
The winner is Anya and she won a photo shoot with Nigel Barker. I’m glad to see Anya is finally getting some screen time. She’s really been ignored. But not today! Her photo shoot is nude because being nude is “timeless.”
Whitney would “love” to be naked with Nigel At least she’s honest. Aimee thinks posing nude is wrong. What is with all these girls coming on this show then being shocked/surprised about the nude photo shoot element? It happens every season! Aimee seems like a sweet girl, though.
After the nude photo shoot seqwey, we return to the “everyone hates Dominique” fight.
Whitney has decided that Lauren, Whitney and Claire are monkeys. Best ANTM analogy ever!
For the photo shoot, the girls get to “emobdy a specific style of music.” This should be fun!! The photographer is Rusell James, who is pretty cool.
Wow, they just interviewed Fatima. I totally forgot about her.

All the girls seemed to struggle with this photo shoot. Except Whitney, who was “geeeeenius” according to Jay. But only the photos will tell! Fatima, Lauren, Whitney, Katarzyna, and Dominique had fairly strong photos. Fatima’s is probably her best yet. Anya, Aimee, Claire and Stacy-Ann didn’t do so hot. Claire’s photo is easily her worst yet.
Whitney gets called first and it’s down to Claire and Aimee. As bad as Claire’s photo was, I’m shocked she’s in the bottom two. They can’t send Claire home! She’s been Covergirl of the Week FOUR times in a row!!!
Oh, thank goodness, Claire stays! I’m hoping this makes her a stronger, more diverse model. It is a lesson she needs to learn, but why did Tyra scare me so?!
It’ll be sad to see Aimee go. She was so sweet. But the sweet ones never last.

i think that the way claire acted when her name was called was very mean and in you face to aimee. she was jumping and smiling and saying YES YES! i just thought that was incredibly rude to aimee who had just been given the boot. yes i understand that she was happy but she should have considered aimee and how she would feel if she was in her position! i just thought that i would throw that thought out there =]

I HONESTLY did not see CLAIRE can fight to DOMANIQUE like that
this week photoshoot is firce
When you live in close quarters and have no consideration for others, you should expect flack somewhere down the line, especially from such strong personalities. Previous contestants have said that getting sleep in the ANTM house was an issue and, with the way they work them, sometimes not possible, so for Dominique to deprive her roommates of sleep and then not apologize for it is immature and selfish. Well, actually, I don’t know what it is with her. If someone comes to her with a problem, it immediately becomes a confrontation. I’m sure Claire didn’t start off with, “You’re a shady bitch,” but Dominique is instantly defensive in every confrontation and then takes it directly to external forces being responsible, not herself. Instead of apologizing for the clock, she blames the clock for being difficult to program. You know it’s bad when Anya speaks up (although wisely stays out of the bigger fight).
Lauren’s outburst can, I think, be viewed as someone who appears highly sleep deprived finally snapping. If this eradict behavior continues (as next week’s preview would have us believe), then I’ll change my estimation of her. Mostly, I wish she’d run a comb through her hair and get some more rest before panel. At least she’s aware of her problems and tries to work on them.
Dominique has interesting coping mechanisms, but I’d have to disagree with you, Leora, as calling someone “monkey” is not cute or a good put down. It’s borderline racist, which is hypcritical coming from Dominique who last week claimed one of her enemies to be the same. In one regard I would come to Dom’s defense and it is this: for Claire, Whitney and Lauren to reenact the fight in the bedroom while Dominique was trying to sleep was highly childish. I understand the desire for payback and to deprive her of sleep, but it could have been done in another way, without stooping so low.
Photo shoot: eh.
Anya’s prize: I’m sorry, but the visible ribcage is not sexy to me. I’d be worried about eating disorders if I saw that in someone’s portfolio.
I’m glad Claire got in the bottom two. It looks like, given her highly inappropriate response, that she won’t learn anything from it. I don’t think Tyra appreciated it, either, so we’ll see what lies ahead for Claire. This is unfortunate, because I thought, until yesterday, that she was level-headed and more mature than the others.
Although Dominique totally deserved Claire’s retort, “Where’s your husband, Dominique?” when Dominique started taking pot shots at Claire. Whitney’s reaction in the background was priceless as well.

“Tough. Her picture was her worst, but Stacy Ann’s was pretty terrible. She’s just skating by, being mediocre at photo shoots. Dominique can’t be a model. She’s old-looking, unattractive, and has an attitude that could get her kicked off sets. So I think others deserve to be in the bottom than Claire”

Yes, that was pretty rude of her and what’s worse is that she didn’t take responsibility for her actions.

She was lucky to have won, good for her! And she gets to add more photos to her portfolio, which is always a bonus for a model.

No, but I kind of saw the judge’s point.
EasterBuffy, I totally agree with you. I also thought that Claire’s re-enactment of the fight was extremely childish. Yes, Dominique is crazy, rude and hard to get along with. But to have the drama dragged on and on and on is just wrong. State your point and then move on. there’s no need to drag it out and replay the whole thing. My opinion of Claire has really changed after this episode. I used to think she was intelligent and above all that, but she really isn’t. A complete disappointment.
By the way, Leora, I love the questions you pose us every week. It’s a great way to get everyone’s opinions.
