I love the new intro and song!
Okay, so we intro with Dominique going on and on about how’s she fierce and competitive. She’s either being set up to be eliminated, to fight someone or to be the next Jade! The girls get a bunch of free stuff from Apple Bottom, which results in Allison being a bitch, Fatima running her mouth off and Stacey-Ann being hilarious (I love Stacey-Ann.)
The girls get an early wake-up call for a visit to Wal-Mart, where they participate in a make-up challenge and casting call. The producers use this chance to further highlight Allison’s bitchiness, Lauren’s incompetencies and Claire’s surprising love for all things superficial. The girls get five minutes to create a fresh clean look–one that fits with Covergirl and Wal-Mart–and Claire is declared the winner! Yay Claire!
Cool thing: This Cycle’s ANTM winner will get her own Wal-Mart/Covergirl display. That might be the most Covergirl exposure an ANTM winner has gotten in a loooooong time.
Back at the house, we learn that Dominique is a single mom (who knew?!) and she gives a really inspiring speech. She’s beginning to grow on me 
Then Allison hauls out two Barbie dolls, stuffs the African-American Barbie’s bootie with toilet paper and then says some stuff that really pisses Fatima off (and rightly so, I think). Allision is not only a bitch, she’s also bat-shit crazy.
Does anyone else think Allison looks a little like Sarah Silverman?
Makeovers, makeovers, makeovers, makeovers! (Does anyone else love Clone High?)
Anya–super-blonde
Whitney–blonde weave
Aimee–bright red with bangs
Marvita–horse mane weave
Lauren–blonde weave with red highlights
Katarzyna–darker tresses
Claire–super short blonde hair
Fatima–chocolate weave
Allison–auburn color
Dominique–darker, shoulder-length
Stacey-Ann–short cut
Amis–long blonde weave
Some makeovers are good, some are bad, just like always. Fatima freaked out over her weave (but weaves do hurt, especially your first). Marvita’s would be super-fantastic if it wasn’t so mullet-esque in the back; I love the top of it tons. Stacey-Ann’s ad Claire’s short hair really rock. I’m not a fan of Allison’s orange color or Whitney’s new blonde look, but this is just me!
The girls think the photo shoot is going to be a nude one, but they’re one! Oh, Tyra is just so sly. Instead, the girls get to model Elle Macpherson’s lingerie–with Elle there to help them out–on a boat with NYC s a backdrop.
Lauren, Allison, Dominique and Fatima struggle and at panel, Allison, Amis, Whitney and Dominique get grilled. There isn’t any photos which are spectacular, but Marvita’s and Lauren’s are probably the strongest of the bunch. Katarzyna is a sex kitten, Dominique is a soccer mom, Claire is a joy, Stacey-Ann is gorgeous and Lauren is awkwardly fierce–kinda like Michelle in Cycle 7. Surprisingly, Lauren was called first! Yay Lauren! She also wore heels to panel, which is impressive.
In the end, Dominique and Allison are in the bottom two and Dominique is saved. I guess it’s better to be a soccer mom than a psycho!

I read a comment somewhere that Anya looked more like Johnny Winters now and I’d have to agree. Her skin is too pale for that much bleach. I think Claire had a decent makeover because that do’ she was sporting before wasn’t working for her. Stacy Ann looks better with short hair, but her plea to Tyra to not shave her head was hilarious. Aimee looks better. Amis and Lauren had better start thinking about how they look at panel, because they both looked awful last week; Lauren needs to get some sleep!
In regards to Allison’s behavior, unless you get to see all the footage they shot, you never know what totally happened there in the loft. I think she needed to find a better way to counter Fatima’s “I’m not being mean but you are fat” comments, and she failed that miserably. Fatima needs some lessons in manners, hard life or not. She’s constantly mixing it up with the other girls (there are plenty of girls who’ve been through the ANTM mill and they’ve risen above that sort of nastiness. Well, okay, I can only think of Danielle Evans, but it’s late and I’m tired). I also think the long weave didn’t do her too many favors, but her lingerie shot was pretty good.
Allison was a bitch no matter what the producers did. And the arguement was Fatimas fault as well but Allison was the one provoking.
Claires makeover was the best and Fatimas was the worst.
Tyras impersonations are HI LARIOUS and i think she know when to draw the line. I love when she impersonates Anya.

Both Allisons picture and attitude sent her home. She was a bit like Jade from cycle 6.

Did Allison’s picture send her home? Or her attitude? “They claim attitude, but her picture wasn’t great either. There wasn’t much to work with. She looked too much like Sarah Silverman for my taste. Amis and Dominique had worse pictures, so it’s probably bad attitude + lackluster photo + past modeling experience not showing = Allison’s elimination.”
