America’s Next Top Model Cycle 9 Winner Saleisha in Seventeen

Here’s a preview of Saleisha winner of America’s Next Top Model cycle 9’s Seventeen magazine cover. I’m going to try to scan in the cover and everything else in the next few days.
So what do you guys think of this cover? I have to say I LOVE how they curled Saleisha’s hair a bit. Her hairdo looks so much better when it has some volume.

I have to say, even though I wanted Heather to win.
I love this cover. She looks so nice, and I love that blue blouse^^ All though I love the cover. Its not high fashion….but then again I guess seventeen is not a high fashion magazine….
Yea her hair looks much better like that, and actually she looks pretty good in this picture. usually her hair looks like a flat mushroom of uglyness. ugh. i really didnt want her to win, but i suppose she can take alright pictures if someonw just does something with that hair.
she is beautiful~~the smile on her face make me happy~~she’s gorgeous. but even clebs are lonely sometimes, someone saw her profile with hot photos on “WealthyKiss.com” a joke made by someone? but who cares. It’s said Charlie Sheen has found his perfect match there.
She looks cute, no denying that, but I feel like this cover just goes to show how much influence Seventeen Mag (and Cover Girl) have on the winner of this show.
Whatever. Shed still doesn’t count as a real winner if you ask me.
TVGuide.com: When Tyra said they were disappointed in everyone after that first spot, I was like, “What more do you people want? She sounded like a human being! You never get that in a CoverGirl commercial!”
Saleisha: [Laughs] I really thought I did well on that, too. That was my first time doing a commercial, and it was hard! But I took in the critiques and tried to apply them to the next one. Sure, I broke down a little bit, but I’m still sitting here as a Top Model, and I feel really good! I’m happy with how everything turned out on the show, because I worked hard. I really did!

I’ve seen girls that look better than her without trying and without make-up. Didn’t like her from the door. Don’t like that she had already worked with Tyra previously and had experience that she was not suppose to have for ANTM. So no, she is not a TRUE winner. Sorry Saleisha. You got that, but it is fake, so no one is impressed. Don’t think I’ll be watching anymore if they are going to have girls that already are models. What since does that make? And the hair is jacked too. Look at how beautiful Bianca was with no hair, and high fashion too. Saliesha can’t touch that.
Oh and about the cover, cute I guess but that look can be found on any street corner. Nothing special about her at all. She’s no Eva or Dani. I know some of the prior girls are pissed. And they have every right to be if this is as good as it gets.
It’s too comercial. Nothing extra special. It’s the nicest smile I’ve ever seen from her though.

Don’t like it! I don’t find her attractive at all. This is what a top model is supposed to look like? I don’t think so!
I wanted her to win over Chantal. She may not be super high fashion, but at least she has a personality. Chantal was dull! That girl was so generic. Saleisha is really bubbly and girls will relate to her. Will she be a top model? Not sure, but I do think she will have a good career. Every winner of top model finds her own little space in the fashion world and does well for herself. So please stop the hate people. The best thing about it is that even if you don’t win a lot of the girls are still signed and begin working. So its like everyone wins in the end.
P.S. Dana- I think she meant it was her first commercial where she has a speaking role. duh!

what is wrong with everyone? she was the best contestant in my eyes and she really deserved to win, at least in this season i was happy with the decision unlike in caridee’s case when i wanted melrose to win. Anyway, i still think saleisha is a great model and is gonna do fine in the industry. stop hating please
Im so tired of everybody hatin on Salesha. She worked hard, Heather couldn’t handle the modeling world right know, she needs more time. Bianca was to stiff, Chantal was stiff too! She won fair and square, so stop hatin and get ova it. Its time for a new season,pick another model.
she looks cute of course it’s makeup. and i already saw this magazine and read the interview inside,this time seventeen magazine has a little section for antm.but usually they have the winner in the front cover and the covergirl photo in the back. i would know because i had the caridee one wear her covergirl photo was in the back while another photo of her was on the front cover.see i told u saliesha covergirl photo looked stupidddddddddd i guess they didn’t even want to put her covergirl photo in the back of the magazine.she had to share it with someone else.yes the magazine has 2 front covers.

uhm.. ur wrong.. i have the one with jaslene and that one has two covers as well. Caridee was the only one with her own cover.. and by the way it was probably jus a coincidence that her covergirl pic was on the back.. because CoverGirl is who buys the ad space, not seventeen.

I think there is nothing high fashion about saleisha. She has a very cute but common look. I really liked Lisa and Heather. I speak from a model’s point of view.
i think that chantal should have won. . . she has the whole package. . . she is GAWWWWWGAAASSSS and she takes beautiful piccys and she is just plain Wonderful she should have won. Saleisha is too uptight
