America’s Next Top Model 9.10 “The Girls Go To Shanghai” Recap
The girls are really excited about going to China. When they arrive Mr Jay and Miss J meet them to let them know that the competition is about to get really really tough.
They’re staying in an amazing penthouse on top of a hotel. They’re really excited until they realize there aren’t enough beds. Heather is the last one to grab a bed and Saleisha refuses to share her huge bed with her. She gets really upset and Bianca laughs at her. Poor Heather!
The next day they show up at the biggest film studio in Shanghai and are getting a tour when a guy runs out from nowhere and attacks their tour guide. They fight for a while and then he explains that they’re going to be learning martial arts.
Their challenge is to do the poses that they were taught on wires in the air.
First up is Jenah and Chantal. Next was Saleisha and Lisa. and last was Heather and Bianca.
Bianca started to freak out. She’s afraid of heights. Heather tries to calm her down. She starts to go up and then begs to be let down. She gets disqualified and Heather has to do it on her own. Heather wins! She wins a shopping spree and gets to choose one girl to go with her. She chooses Chantal.
It was so funny when they were out shopping. They were so much taller than everyone else and really stuck out like sore thumbs.
The next day they show up to do a cover girl photo shoot and commercial. They each need to add something that’s their own to their shoot.
Lisa ended up breaking down at the shoot and started crying. Heather can’t manage to deliver her lines.
Lisa is first at panel. Her video is fumbled. It looks like she’s going to cry the whole time. Tyra tells her that she should just cry if she needs to and get it out. They all love her picture though.
Chantal: When the panel watches the video they think she’s cute and charming but her picture looks too fake.
Bianca: They ask her about not completing the challenge and she says she has trust issues. They say her video was fumbled but she looked amazing
Jenah: Nigel says she doesn’t have charm in the video. They love her picture.
Saleisha: Twiggy loved her video. Tyra says her smile was too squinty and she needs to open her eyes.
Heather: The panel loves her photo but her video is a disaster.
Here’s the order in which the girls get called: Chantal, Saleisha, Bianca, Jenah
Heather and Lisa are in the bottom two.
Lisa goes home. 
Darn, he was my favorite! Do you guys think she should have been sent home?

i am sorry heather takes great pictures, but that is where it ends. she is one dimensional..
yes lisa fumbled and yes she wasn’t as strong, but come on niether was heather! i really do feel tyra is going to make heather win because of her “disability” and I really do think that is unfair.
she is gawky, can not recite her lines and her walk is really off. I like her personality but in the real cut and dry world of modeling, will she really get the job???????
whatever, antm has been losing their touch since cycle 3..
I guarantee you that Heather will be the top 3 at the end and I won’t be surprise if she wins…

yall need to leave that girl heather alone yeah she has a disability but i think its a good thing that she is stepping outside of her comfort zone she could have easily gave up or never even apply for the competition…those girls on that show are evil for taunting her
