I’m so delighted and surprised! I didn’t think Nicole could take the crown from Laura, who’s a perfect fit for Seventeen and CoverGirl. I’m excited to see how this all plays out tonight!
omg! i totally knew nicole would win! i love her sooo much and she was adorable on the tyra show. i’m so happy for her!!!
I expected nicole to win… and i’m happy for her… but i’d so rather see laura win
Nicole is the stronger model IMO so I am not surprised she won. I just thought Tyra would have crowned Laura for the shocking factor.
I’m shocked that the girl who did the best all cycle long actually won. That being said, I think Laura needed to win more than Nicole. Nicole can be more versatile in her look so whether she won or not, Wilhelmina probably would have signed her. Laura is more of a beauty girl so the CG thing would have been good for her but I think she’ll get signed as well. Both girls were deserving so I’m happy either way.
YES!! This is the first time since Cycle 8 that my favorite won!! And I agree, it was great to see that Tyra and co. gave the crown to someone with TALENT (I’m looking at you, Teyona, Saleisha, Whitney, Danielle, Yoanna, I could go on).
Not only am I glad that Nicole won for herself and for petite models everywhere, but also because this is retribution for all the awkward girls that came before her. Kahlen, Michelle (cycle 7), Heather, Anya, Marjorie, Allison… this is for all y’all, too!
